Hmm, typical dumbass metalhead opinions. You end up sounding like 12year old kids.
"gay sound"? What kind of an opinion or criticism is that? haha.
This is a very talented band and managed to blend the funk and metal quite well in my opinion. If everyone just kept writing the same kind of stuff it would get boring as hell.
Oh and codenamedav, Primus are an amazing band, larry and les have twice as much talent, compared to half the musicians in metal. Thats coming from a big metal fan.
@estonzoplitz seriously? your judging their music off this one song. Which may i add isnt 'bordering' on a parody it basically is a parody. its sarcasm about not having a job hence... 'everyday's a holiday'. All their other songs are different. they also have songs that dont include funk. So go and fuck yourself. come back when you learn something about music. To create what these guys do takes talent. And yes, nevermind the interview. YOU come across as a pretentious douchebag.
yeah! you're right about that dude! look how shitty the red hot chili peppers and primus are. great point! funk and metal? everyone knows that went NOWHERE! fishbone sucked too. & that late 80's bay area club scene w/ limbomaniacs and psychofunkapus and fungo mungo? lame times for sure. great comment! thanks for sharing!
it's not a rule, it just doesn't make any sense, Slayer, metallica, exodus, megadeth, death angel. But MORDRED, that's joke metal or pop, next michael Jackson.
Great band. Never got used to the singer, though. I remember seeing this interview on "Hard n Heavy" and thinking what a ridiculous, pompous ass the drummer was. Third-person references to his own band.
UMMMMMMMMM this sucks

Very good point, besides the Primus and metal musicians part.

@ShreddinThrash This IS garbage. Funk and heavy music have obviously worked, but this shit sounds
stiff and dated - bordering on a parody. Not to mention these guys come off as such pretentious douchebags in this interview.

@creador31 yeah well you have no imagination that's why you're merely a consumer. one that's still entitled to an opinion unfortuantely.

My least favorite era of mordred.
This was their "GAY SOUND".
Totally unappealing. They didn't want to play thrash anynore because it was getting very unpopular. they wouldn't play this shit today.
They would be laughed at !!!
