  • wow, no sections...I am jealous.lol

  • wow your hair is VERY EASY to take care of. Or maybe it was the high speed.

  • I just tried my black soap today and LOVED it! Gave my mother a piece, she washed her hair with it to day also and loved the way t made her hair feel SOFT she remarked! Yay!

I purchased my bar for $3.99 at Home Economist Market!! Glad I did! I think it will become a staple product! A little goes a long way!

  • good video

  • Where can u get black soap from? Your hair is awesome!

  • thanks, i got mine from an african shop near my house but there are places u can purchase from online, i'll find some links and msgs u later

  • is it in a liquid form or bar? will both be fine for the hair? great video[=

  • the one i used was in bar form, but i know some people make shampoo out of it with water

  • okay, thank you[=

  • no problem

  • what do you say about black people conditioning their hair everyday? i feel the need to do it b/c i like it for some reason.

  • as long as your conditioning i dont see any harm in doing it, since conditioners aren't as drying on our hair as shampoos. i use to cowash everyday also, and i liked it

  • Thank you so much for replying I used it yesterday, maybe I can use it once a month, and find something else to co wash with. Thank you again peace~~~~your hair is Beautiful btw!!!!

  • yup, after shampooing with black soap, i'd recommend using a moisturizing conditioner, i like aubrey organins honeysuckle rose conditioner and jane carters conditioner.

  • is it okay to co wash with black soap?

  • yes it is, just not too often because some people find that in can be very drying of the hair

  • thank you so much for getting back to me...i will be awaiting your next reply....thanks...:)

  • i thank you for this video, and like others have said...you're very thorough and i love it. :) where do you buy the african black soap?

  • i got mine from a muslim shop along with the shea butter but you can purchase black soap online.. i'll try and find exactly where N msg it to u.

  • I said it before but I just love your arms!

  • Ok so you don't put the black soap directly on your hair you lather it in your hands first then apply?

And you can run a comb through it with it in? wow!

  • is there any hting like leave in conditioner?.......as in a kinda conditioner u dnt hav ta rinse out?

  • Thanks for the helpful tips by using black soap....great video....

  • wow total hotness esp when you put ur hair up,u go gurl

  • Your hair is beautiful.

  • i thinking of going natural so how do you dry your hair you wouldnt use a blow dryer right?!?!

  • nah, i dont blow dry my hair, i let it air dry.. my hair like literally DRINKS up water quick so unless my hair is soaked with conditioner, my hair air dries really quick

  • u are thorough girl!!

  • If the black soap bubbles and lathers, doesnt that mean it has sodium laureth sulfate in it and dries out your hair?

  • no, black soap is an all natural product. it does not contain chemicals (sodium laureth sulfate).

  • Your hair is so pretty! Does the black soap try your hair out? And how long do you leave in the conditioner?

  • Thanks, and no the black soap doesn't dry my hair out. I don't leave it on too long and I don't do a double wash, just once, massage my scalp for a few and then rinse... The conditioner I leave on for a couple minutes sometimes longer with a plastic cap over it.. The conditioner is a moisturizing conditioner so it leaves my hair feeling pretty good.

    Hope that helps :)

  • Thanks so much :) I'm gonna try that black soap & conditioner.

  • Good advice ! the same goes for anyone using Black soap on there face, only use it ONCE per wash !!! if your prone to sensitive / dry skin, doing this has practically eliminated any sore stinging i was experiencing before , and using a very gentle alcohol-free skin toner straight after wards, works wonders to re-balance the skins moisture levels. Anyways a good vid !!

  • Thanks! I didn't know about the balancing aspect and the elimination of stinging. Neat.

  • *Sigh... oO(I can only dream of combing my hair in it's dry state).

  • who is the music by???

  • Danity Kane "come over"

  • cool, i take it you feel very comfortable with the box braids. I transitioned from relaxer and I am finding it challemging to care for my natural hair...and tips on moisture? Oh thanks for getting back to me and how often do you wash?

  • i kno u werent askin me, but if these questions r still floating through ur mind, then i can help u wit them. u should wash ur hair once a week. after u wash out the conditioner, oil or shea butter ur hair. u should shea butter ur ends evry nite b4 u wrap it wit a silk or satin headwrap, 2 keep in the moisture & keep ur ends from gettin dry & breakin off. if ur hair gets dry u can just get oil or shea butter & spread it evenly throughout. dont oil it 2 much, it'll be greasy. hope this helps! :)

  • but what do you do after this stage? do you blow dry, towel dry, twist? what's the next stage plz...

  • Great video ive def gotta try the black soap but where can i buy it from and what soap is that ??

  • I'm hooked on the black soap.I add distilled water, coconut oil,and peppermint tea. I boil it,let it cool and put it in a bottle. It feels great. I doubt I will ever buy shampoo of any kind again. Your hair is fabulous. I hope get to that length soon:)

  • hi, can you tell, me how i can make black soap into a liquid form like yours pls? is pepermint oil, a natrual perservative, and how long can you keep it in the bottle for, many thanks.

  • You can actually buy liquid black soap - Dr. Woods brand. I have just started using it too. They have a liquid black soap and shea butter blend that I can't wait to try! google search Dr. Woods - but I bought mine on the Iherb website. Good stuff!!

  • i usually make my blk soap by just letting it sit and disolve and that is it. do boiling thicken it??

  • Wow! I can't comb my natural hair dry, all of the coils with snap off :} Geat vid though, I wonder how the black compares to regular no-sulfate shampoos.

  • @umkish

From my result it makes my hair softer and it feels very conditioned but then again i melted the black soap and added oil and shea butter to the mix so that might be why my hair likes it. Personally i feel its better and it would save alot of money.

  • african black soap is the best.

  • Your hair looks really soft.

  • your hair is really pretty :)

  • thank you =]
