  • @nags2bitches

    Im using my phone, I can't see the top comments on videos. Sorry.

  • @xXWhiteHorse94Xx OMFG hahahaha

  • If you replay the first 2 seconds there is a guy who is running away from the horses and he trips and falls flat on his face right by the grey horses

  • @xXWhiteHorse94Xx Yeah and if you look at the top comments posted 2 years ago....

  • That arena is wayyy too small for that many horses and that much equipment. A disaster waiting to happen.

  • Smart people though. Get headers to all of the horses and keep them still. Nothing like the Country Pleasure Driving Class gone wrong.

  • @AGRLMK: and this is the difference between arabians and drafts...arabians start a panic..."he;s running...well, ok I'll run too!" Drafties "uh...im gonna stand here, outta the way...too much work to do anything else..." but i love both equally!

  • Run horsie run ESCAPE!!!!!

  • @16jazzgura why?? its what their breed and born for. they love what they do, but some times things can go wrong.

  • idiots running off! they could have easily stopped them. knobs! thinks this whole little show is pathetic horses are for loving and riding? this is a clear example of that?

  • @hannahemilyxxx: Genius...draft horses are bred for PULLING! Each of these horses weighs over 2000lbs! That's like stopping a car coming straight at you...generally, if you have enough sense...you get the fuck outta the way. AND This class is an example of how supplies used to be delivered around cities and towns...They do various maneuvers with the teams as well. And just for shits and giggles, we draft people also ride and LOVE our horses!

  • I was working at touch the farm that day!

  • Did anyone else see that guy eat dirt?

  • I can see those two horses running and thinking,"Umm, I think we're missing something."

  • and thats what those docking manuevers are for in the modern day

  • Oh, man. Imagine if their victory lap would've gotten the other ones all fired up. It would've been bananas.

  • God i love brandon Fair... for all those silly people saying too many horses have no idea... they put way more teams than this in there... it shoes true control of a team, the horses got out on a freak accident... GET OVER IT!!! and yes i am a residant in Manitoba and was present when this happened

  • That clyde team that sidestepped out of the way was very disiplined!

  • @mushergal no doubt

  • buy a bigger ring..

  • And they thought that running after the 2 horses, especially those guys who ran in a group, would do better? o.o

  • Percherons are strong but slow horses so i wouldnt stand infront of them when they are galloping or trotting

  • on the upside, thats a fantastic uphill canter action they are displaying as they belt off...!

  • wow... might be afraid when a percheron runs toward you!!! god!

  • that actually went pretty well. ive seen disaster from loose harness horses

  • I know this is a bad thing to happen but at 0:01-0:03 the guy that fell on his face really made me crack up, just hope he is ok.

  • man! i wouldn't want to get near one of those percherons, especially when they're out of control! seriously, their hooves are like manhole covers!!! :O

  • They other horses are very impressive staying so calm and behaved with the two loose ones. Speaks volumes about good training and trust.

  • wow so lucky they managed to get them all under control

  • BBAAAHAHAHAHAHAA @ guy @ 3 seconds in. LOL Running from the horses to safety...or not. Hes more dangerous to him than they are!

  • hahahaha i think it is funny how MEN are runnng after PERCHERONS thinking if they get a hold of those huge horses that are running they can STOP them lol

  • i went to the fantasia thing!

  • tiny arena for such huge carts and horses! no wonder it went wrong!

  • good trainners if i was that Percheron and was hyped id be like GET OUT MY WAY SUCKA!

  • I agree with cowgal58, and how could they have gotten loose?

  • They looked easy to catch, once they saw somebody come towards them they stopped [:

  • well handled- good staff

  • loves me some perches. but did ya se the fella takin a nice face plant :P

  • Theres been some good wrecks at that fair. The way they show the heavy horses has to be reconsidered. Those two caused enough caos in that ring and they were well trained. could have done a lot of damage. every body there was lucky.

  • Perchys are smart , lol

  • Ive got a Percheron x Friesian and he's thick as a brick. Dont know where he gets it from then lol!

  • lol! They used a tripwire on a human!

  • hahahahahahhahahahah  CMEREEEE !!!!!!

  • Whts up with the guy and the bar and his leg..

  • I agree with cowgal. i mean, big horses, small arena.. come on common sence..

  • Thats too many horses in one small ring. Sorry

  • It was just a fluke accident. There's alot of stuff holding those pairs together and it only takes one buckle to break or one snap to let go. I've personally seen 8, 8 horse hitch teams in that exact arena. I'll agree its alot of horses in a small area but those horses are so well trained and have such a great temperment, if I had to have so many in there at one time, I would want it to be those drafts

  • @cowgal58 only in america dumb ass yanks why take take so many heavy teams in to a poxy small indoor arena. come to england and learn how its done properly.

  • @billy12759 this fair is Canada ya tool

  • hillarious when everybody stands there ground at the end and the one guy fling himself out of the way ahahahahaaa

    ~~~Dortae~~~~
  • at 0:03 that guy was runnin and they where like whoop! no you don't!! ahahahhahahahahahah omg great stuff lol
  • I don't know why I laughed at 0:03
  • cause that guy goes flyin!!!! hahahahah i'm replayin it in my head and i'm lmfao !!! ahhahahahhahahhahahahah lolq
  • Whoa! thank god no one was hurt. The guy at 0:03, maybe a little bruise.
  • He tripped. Just sayin.
  • People AND horses can get killed in situations like that. Not ALWAYS due the inexperience or idiotic behavior of a person, sometimes it is the horses fault. Most of the time, it's the humans. But what that girl said is completely accurate, just as what you said is as well. It depends on the situation. There are different situations that happen for different reasons and they all should be taken care of and viewed in various aspects. These people reacted quickly and got the horses back to normal.
  • 0:03 that guy just falls on his face. poor dude. that must have been scary though..
  • awwaww
  • major props to all who went out and caught them!
  • and at the third second when that guys is tripped by a set of spreader bars he was runnig to catch one of the loos horses he tripped over sarrillion percherons spreader bars
  • lol I was there that year. Don't worry no one was hurt, the show went on a usual. The horses just got spooked a little. and YES THOSE ARE PERCHERONS!
  • i had seen that pleasure class too, those ppl were stipid and idiotic, these were fast reacting to an "emergencie" not that is but any loose can be dangerous
  • I like to compare this one to that video where country pleasure with the arabians go wrong. I have to admit, they were quick to react this time.
    Don't see where people are getting the idea that these are clydesdale from. They have no feathering and it clearly says percheron. Beautiful horses.
  • Ouch, I ride horses but this is so dangeorous!
  • 0:03 the guy tripping over something, loose traces maybe, as he tries to run away from the thundering hooves....Ha ha ha love to have heard what was going on in his head . Hope he wasn't hurt.
  • @nags2bitches: LOL. I didn't even notice that until I read your comment and went back to watch it in the video.  Great catch!
  • These are Percherons. Each weighing approximately 1,600 lbs. plus. Did you notice how easily they were caught and the situation brought under control. Not so with the other video where the arabian pleasure driving class go bananas. Arabians are nutbags.
  • Personally, I think Arabs are ugly. They have great personalities, and are way smart, but the slender face... just doesn't look good to me.
  • Arabs?! Seriously.
  • those are clydsdales
  • nope try again. they are def percherons.
  • I agree. Percherons are my favorite!
  • pecherons aren't that big think that they are clydsdales or somthing like them too ...
  • or the men in this vid are all under 1,60 m
    but i think that is impossible O.o
  • Most Percheron weigh around or over a ton, and most are between 16.2-17.3hands (5.4-5.7 feet at the withers) but can range from 15-19 hands. Dr Le Gear was one of the tallest horses known at 21 hands (Seven feet at the shoulder.) As far as horses go, they're huge.
  • I read they arent so huge..
    Hmm false information I think
  • that could have ended badly!!! lucky!!!
  • Those horses are so big they could have hurt somebody. the people just dive out of the way, lol. this breed of horses are so beautiful.
  • Everyone's always blabbing about clydesdales, probably because it's all they've heard of, but I'm a huge fan of percherons.
  • me to, they're my fav breed.
  • Chalk it up to drafters. If it had been Arabs, there would have been more running and screaming ...
  • i was there when that happened! :P it was freaky . but somewhat exciting :P
  • Just a quick reminder to those humans who think they've got the upper hand! :D One horse to the other, "Ok, stay together now and show 'em we don't need them to put on a good show!"
  • why I don't drive. I imagine things exactly like that....and worse. ugggh. glad no one was hurt
  • Yeah, lots of fun. People and horses get killed in situations like that.
  • they were just having some fun!
  • FACEPLANT!!! I love that! he was so funny!
  • Wheeeeee, ah shit the door's closed! Well back to the team.
  • I bet the team (middle) horse were like  "yah we got rid of 'em! WE ARE THE LEADERS NOW!!!!!"
  • Omg!!! I was there :D That was really worriing and then after i was just laughing :P
  • haha did you see that guy noseplant at 0:03 seconds!? hahahah beautiful horse btw
  • hahaha there not even like going crazy
    just cantering around
  • weee!! were freee!!! Lol. look at the dude wipe out in the beginning!! LMFAO!!! love the teamwork though, kept everyone safe. beautiful horses
  • calm. drafts are awesome :)
  • YES run free!
  • Yeah, I thought so too. Not sure if they are still doing that....
  • Awfully small arena for those 4-up and 6-up hitches.
  • the horses say i am free
  • lol they did tht on purpsoel lol naughty horese but such gentle horses wen they wanna b lol (personal experican riding a draft cross )
  • Good job to the handlers for ending a bad situation before it got worse. As for stepping in front of them, horses aren't (generally) mean by nature, they aren't going to just run you down unless they are truly terrified out of their wits. If those two had spooked the other horses on the other hitches it could have turned very ugly quickly.
  • ya, we were really going to let the lead team run all over the place and spook the other hitches, it made more sense to stop them, and they will stop with you get infront of them.
  • i say grab to horses still hooked the the wagon and get the hell out of the way you dont want to be hit head on but a horse at full speed esspecially a draft! (personal experience)
  • ooow thtm m ustac  v hurt sorry crap spllelig typing with 1 finger lol
  • wow what is it about brandon and the drafts in 06 when I went, a hitch turned over in the arena, and I another one spooked in the asile when they where getting hitched up, almost ran over a bunch of people.
  • How did they even get loose i sawe that guy jump that was kinda funny!!!
  • what a sec...at the start did some guy get knocked over??? OUCH
  • that is scary that could have been very bad!!!
  • lol did you see that person filp over in to the ground I am sorry but that wus kind of funny
  • haha i saw that!haha i as like wow haha forget the horses go back to him!!lol
  • That sucks I know I have draft horses it looks like of the tugs got loose that happened to me before
  • that happened to me 4 of 3 of my freinds were with me and there were 2 huge perchons and one didnt like his bit so he started walking and there was no one on the cart so thery ran and and i was right on front luckil i run track do thats good and they tore right through my neighbors back yard and it was so scary
  • loll..the loose horses just kept going..like robots sortof.
  • Jeez...5 sixes in that hellish little ring. That's a hockey rink for God's sake. Seen better wrecks though- Fox's back in the 80's at the MGLI.
  • OMG! That's soooo scary!
  • good manuvering of the other eams, i give them thumbs up for getting out of the way
  • Im the guy that got tripped.. the lead line got wrapped around my foot.. its all funny now!
  • oh my god it was kinda funny are you ok now i bet you shit your self
  • its not really that funny, these were my uncles horses and someone could have been bedly hurt!
  • This was crazy to see in person! The guy who fell tripped on another guy who was running. They both were trying to get out of the way as the 2 loose horses came barreling straight for them. Luckily nobody was hurt, it could've been bad!
  • I know, I saw that guy at :02 also.... I can't figure out what he caught his leg on.
  • LMAO @ the guy who fell [at 00:02]
  • hey! i know this! isn't this from the equine affair or somewhere like that?! it's called Fantasia i think
  • no, no, it is true footage of what happened at the royal winter fair in brandon manitoba in 2007.
