so I printed out your plans for this plane! This is my first time doing a MikeysRC plane, i am very excited! But I intend to modify it with more lift, for slow, steady speeds for good GoPro footage, what would be necessary to do so? Thanks! (If this plane works out good, I'll definitely do another!)

@RCUAVGUY The plane will need no mods for what you want to do with the go pro. If you want to fly really slow though you should build my FPV V3 plane.

@avsz2010 Duno....maybe 25MPH would be dooable. Gusty wind is more of a challenge.

What does it happen if the weight of the plane are 800 grams? What engine would need it? I made a plane with marquetry wood but I haven´t tried to fly it yet. Do you think it´ll fly with enough power?

What store did you get the foam board from I tried everywhere they don't sell 40 inch foamboared and give me a good motor fro

@DavesRCairplanes I get it from the dollar tree stores. Don't worry if it's not big enough with one sheet.....just flue two pieces together then reienforce that glue joint with BBQ skewers. So just basically cut the wing in half.

i think you can have a bigger load by adding 'vertical wings' on the ends of the wings to increase lift. (I'm not shore how they call them, but they r yoused offen with commercial airplanes.

Hey Mikey, my Helicopter (Honey Bee CP3) Crashed for its 3rd time. And its engine it fine. Its blades are fine back the whole back it destoryed. Im keen to make a glide plane out of its engine and blades. If I make it right will it work and will it cost less than $250? Thanks mate

Have you flown this plane with your goggles far away from your launch site? As in being 100% dedicated to using your goggles to fly the plane entirely miles away from you and make it back? Do know where you are just by navigating roads and landmarks (rivers, ponds) to know where you are in the sky?

how do you make the dihedral

Crease the foam board before I glue it on the fuselage piece. Then use the BBQ skewers to hold the wings as a slight up angle.

FPV flying is illegal without a special permit in most countries. You better check that before you even think about FPV flying. If something happens you will have no insurance. Since you can't look around you you can't see a real plane coming, you also can lose the connection, lose sight and crash the plane miles away, with every bad result possible. Just think about all that before you spend a lot of money on something that's illegal to begin with. It does give nice video footage though.

In the US you need to have a spotter who keeps the plane in visual contact. I have no idea what the laws are for other country's.

Here in the Netherlands it's illegal. Even on-board video is not allowed. I didn't know that before. I didn't see any harm in it either. But I though that it might be useful information for others, so they can check what the law says in their own country. Just for the benefit of the RC-hobbyists. Here in Europe those wide open spaces are very rare, I guess thats why it's more regulated. Personally I like the FPV-technology :-))
