@schuyoff I find it interesting that you are unwilling to allow your factual misrepresentations and misuse of English words to be questioned. @RayinDC Go ahead and explain how public health care is not leading us down the ugly path to communism! As for my story about Clinton it was a means to communicating my view of Obama and Clintons horrible lives and how they will be the death of America. You say I am either gullible or stupid and I agree that I am stupid but not as stupid as you when it comes to preserving America from the democratic scum that Obama represents.
How about this explanation. The GOP proposed a carbon copy of Obamacare as the free market Republican option (including the individual mandate which they now deride) when Clinton (whom you obviously have an irrational hatred for) was trying to reform healthcare. "Obamacare" does not nationalize any part of the healthcare system -- it continues to work through health insurance companies, even though we WOULD be better off (better results for lower cost) with a system like Canada's.
We have the most expensive healthcare system in the world, and it delivers the worst quality of care of all the industrialized nations, in large part because of the excessive profits and waste in our current healthcare system, and insurance company incentives to deny care. Our healtchare system was government regulated (by state governments on a supply-side basis), but Republicans succeeded in privatizing it, and the inefficient system we have now is the result.
I would have preferred more fundamental reform in the form of a public option (also not socialism, let alone communism), but we didn't even get that. I lived in a Communist country for 2 years, and you have no idea what you're talking about when you throw that word around. We are nowhere near a communist country, nor have Dems proposed anything that would even remotely make us one. Please take a break from Fox News and the Dredge Report & try reading a newspaper for a change.
@RayinDC Perhaps you did not understand me. Obama has fooled the American people into accepting communism and I would wish that we would not get fooled again. There once was published a 400 page volume titled "The Accomplishments of Bill Clinton" and every single page was blank.
@schuyoff Oh, I understand you all too well. If you think Obama is promoting communist, you're either just incredibly gullible, an idiot, or both. And so what if some anti-Clinton fanatic published a big blank book with that title?
@RayinDC Well at least some of tea party wackos(O'donnell,Angle etc) did not get elected,so there was at least some consolation. And maybe a Republican controlled HoR will bode well for the Dems in the next big election particularly if 'mama grizzly' gets the Rep nomination, should split the GOP apart!!
But you DID get fooled again, didn't you? BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, or whatever name he wants to use these days. Keep your hand out, beg politicians, cheer the charlatans, they need YOUR support (MONEY!). Become independent, ask the politicians to simply leave you and the world alone. It would be much cheaper and less stressful.
@Srd1126 Why? Just because they're both Dems? Or do you mean that as some kind of put-down because you blindly accepted all the Reaganite mocking of Carter?
@RayinDC Because I lived thru Carter and see Obama as the same incompotent, hates America atttitude. When inflation hits 20% in 2011 he will have completely replicated Carter.
Unfortunately, the greater risk to our economy now is deflationary depression, not inflation, especially with GOP opposition to further stimulus spending. If the stimulus package had been when Dems proposed (and the GOP blocked), the unemployment rate would be much lower now. Still, it's already created more private sector jobs than Bush did in all of his 8 years. And, it stopped America from slipping into another Great Depression.
@RayinDC Har har--give it a break, you guys lost the midterms. The stimulus was a total waste that was used mostly to keep overpaid public sector employees working. It has not created one net new private sector job whereas millions were created under W where average unemployment was about 5.5% vs > 9% under Obama. Keep up the fairy tale of the possibility of another Great Depression, enough people may believe that to keep Obama from looking a bigger fool than he already does.
@Srd1126 Google "bikini graph jobs" and you will see the statistics about Bush versus Obama jobs creation-- Obama is the winner hands down. Plus, are you actually saying the 9%+ unemployment is Obama's fault -- it was that high (and higher) right after he came into office. That is the result of the Bush recession. And remember, it was Bush who created the stimulus, which John Boehner rallied the Repubs behind in order to avoid another Great Depression, as THEY said at the time. & They were right
@RayinDC Bush Recession? You should call it "Democrat Congress Recession" as things were booming until Pelosi and Reid took congress, refusing to let Bush rein in Freddie and Fannie. And yes, the 9% unemployment is Obama's fault. Or do you think him saying "worst economy in 80 years" didn't spook confidence and all his tax-and-regulation keep money out of the economy? IT IS NOW OBAMA'S ECONOMY, and if he has "created" any private sector jobs they are all people making the McRib.
@Srd1126 Yes, Bush recession. That's why the GOP ran as far away from Bush as it could in 2008, and that's why Obama was elected in such a resounding repudiation of GOP policies. That claptrap about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is absurd -- no respectable conservative economist believes they caused the recession, or that the Congress "refused to let Bush" rein them in. Like your godess-queen Sarah Palin says, "stop makin' stuff up!"
@RayinDC And the Obama policies worked so well that Dems running for re-election to the extent that they mentioned them at all said they voted AGAINST them. Hee Hee. You should get out more, the mortgage crisis is known to have caused the recession, that Barney Frank and other Dems wanted them to keep lending money based on skin color and not qualifications is well known. You need to watch something fair and balanced for your news.
@Srd1126 You mean watch "fair and balanced" Fox? No thanks. I actually read for my news: The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, etc. And I have a masters degree in economics. How about you? What you say is "well known" is only the case with misinformed folks like yourself. You're right that a lot of "conservative Dems did run away from Obama, but notice that they're the ones that lost: 76 of the 80 members of the progressive caucus were reelected, while 24 of the 53 Blue Dogs weren't.
@RayinDC 76 dems in gerrymandered districts where people would vote for Fidel Castro if he had a (D) by his name is news? Even those dems ran away from Obama. No one who reads WSJ regularly (and I do!) would have such silly economic beliefs as you. Perhaps in getting your masters you spent all your time on campus and none in the real world?
@Srd1126 It's funny you bring up gerrymandering, since that's what previous House Majority Leader Tom Dancin' Shoes Delay is on trial for breaking Texas campaign finance laws to do. Not sure what of my economic views you think are "silly." The ones that don't agree with whatever your beliefs are maybe? And no, I am not and never was an academic. It also just so happens that I put myself through college and grad school by working blue collar jobs during summer and winter breaks.
@Srd1126 And of course all Democratic Party members would vote for Fidel Castro, since as you and others like you constantly point out, we're all Dirty Pinko Commies.
@RayinDC Yeah...'Dirty Pinko Commies' is all they have. Logic seemingly isn't in their repertoir. Ahh conservatives, say they represent the 'average' American. That's cool as long as you're white, straight, a Christian and own a couple of Corporations. Any 'difference' or deviation from the narrow ideal is deeply threatening to them. Makes 'em gutless bastards in my book. Elitist pigs.
@Srd1126 And the idea that Obama saying (truthfully) that the economy is bad could "spook" people enough to cause the economic crash (which happened before he said that)? That's laughable. It is now Obama's economy, and his policies have made it a lot better than it was under the Repubs. And please, stop parotting Fox News and the Drudge Report and look at some actual statistics before you spout off that nonsense about jobs. And start thinking about why you hate Obama so much.
@RayinDC Yes, a major POTUS candidate sayiing things are bad spooks people--why wouldn't it? ANd he was saying it way before the crash, for two years in fact. The "stastics" are from the Dept of Commerce, not FNC. I don't like Obama because he is more concerned about illegal aliens and muslims than working Americans. Since Obama is a muslim it would explain his hatres of American Values. Perhaps you should think why you hate the GOP so much? Your posts are full of racism and hate, BTW.
@Srd1126 You are really going off the deep end here. If your statistics are DOC, cite a link. And Obama is a Muslim? And you say I'm racist? Who and what am I supposedly racist against? I don't hate the GOP -- I'm actually a fiscal conservative, which 40 years ago might have made me a Republican but now makes me a Dem. And the illegal alien thing? Boy, you must be a racist to throw both that and the Muslim thing out in a single comment. Did you not even know that illegal repatriation is way up?
@RayinDC Jobs report is put out first friday of every month, you would know if you read the WSJ. Yes, Obama is a muslim. What is racist about pointing that out? Illegal repatriation being up if it even is would be a legacy of the Bush years as Obama sues states that try to enforce federal immigration laws and drops trials. Your racism keeps showing. Dems bsing fiscally responsible? I hope you are not subject to drug tests at work!
@Srd1126 You keep spouting more and more crap without basis. The job reports show signficant job creation. The Washington Post has done a full series on immigration enforcement which shows the increase in enforcement under Obama. What have I said that is racist, and what do you base this irrational belief that Obama is Muslim on? And BTW, I don't do any drugs, ever (except for beer or wine with dinner).
@Srd1126 You are also wrong about public sector employees (& I'm not even one): They are paid on average 22% less than comparable private sector jobs, based on nonpartisan statistical analysis. Seriously, watch something besides Fox for a change. And your supposed "fact" about the stimulus not creating one new job is news to all the GOP pols that have requested and received stimulus money for their districts and states. Like Sarah Palin said: "Stop makin' stuff up!"
@schuyoff You're right about one thing: That Clinton did a great job as president (he's the only one to have achieved the budget surplus that Republicans claim they want but never actually do), and he left the country in a lot better shape than it was when he inherited it from Reagan. Similarly, in spite of constant GOP obstruction, Obama's policies are finally succeeding in pulling the US out of the Bush recession.
Zach's got it right. They're all evil and it goes right back to money. Everything else is extraneous and a simple tool to control the masses and manipulate the so-called "vote". Oh, and for what that's worth, the "vote" doesn't matter, either. Shrub's presidency is proof of that. Great video!!
why dont people see past this illusion of parties competing for a better candidate. its all staged by the real rulers.... the BANKERS that pay the salaries for these puppets.
everyone is going to argue their way to the end but never solve shit cause thats exactly what these men want. they want fighting and hesitation. revelution is difficult when you cant get along. and stop with the crack-like addiction to technology people
So what makes Democrats better? Wasting money, proving they can't use money wiser than a five year old? Cold hearted murder of the unborn? Perverted unnatural marriage? Democrats are terrible. Republicans are bad-ish. Libertarians are probably the most balanced, but... GO CONSTITUTION PARTY! We need a minor party in office. Fix this two party system. Vote minor.
If you can't tell that Dems are better than more Republican Rule after George Bush, then you need to pay attention to the news. As far as other parties are concerned, Libertarians are crazy, and the "Constitution Party" is a misnomer because the first thing it does is throw out the separation of Church and State, which is fundamental to our democracy. And even if one agrees with a third party platform, the fact is that we have two party system, and we need to work within those constraints.
Why is "separation of church and state" so good? It's nowhere in the Constitution. It was in a letter Thomas Jefferson wrote about the government not being involved with a specific denomination, the main reason many settlers came to the US. It's falsely represented and not what the Founding Fathers intended.
The Constitution Party is undeniably better, they respect the Constitution as supreme law of the land and as intended and with a Christian view. Like the Founding Fathers.
Separation of church of state is in the Constitution. It's in the 1st Amendment and is called the Establishment Clause: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."
You're completely contradictory. No. Nowhere in the Constitution does it allude to separation of church and state. NOWHERE! That clause doesn't say that leaders of state can't be Christian, or pray in public, or that public places can't display a cross or something. Nowhere. That's saying they can't say "Catholics are right and you're all wrong, either accept the Catholic faith or leave our country or die." (Although, I personally think Catholics are heretics, just chose them 'cause of history.)
Sorry, but you're wrong again. And noone (myself included) ever said that national leaders can't be Christian, as many are. They just can't establish a national religion. That's what the Establishment Clause means, which IS separation of church and state. How else would you interpret the plain language of the First Amendment?
Amen. When we watched the Who during the Superbowl (I played guitar through most of it, at youth we watched commercials, we hate football. After getting home I watched the Who and that's it.) and we were all thinking this song could've been written yesterday and could be the tea party movement's anthem.
Hey Guess what !!!! The Obama Admin now wants the ability to gather info on everyones cell phones . That includes when, where and the contents of everyones cell phone conversations . Now you tell me who is BIG BROTHER
Libertarians are nuts? Why are people who belief in the protection of the constitution, Liberty and personal freedoms nuts? They are the most grounded of all political perspectives.
@eagerbeaver53 The Bonnie Blue is a blue flag having one white star in the middle of the field. It stands for 1 sovereign and independent state. It has also been used as a secession flag. The union of American states is politically outdated. Our founding fathers created the federal union for strength. We don't need a strong federal union for strength anymore because Great Britain no longer threatens the American states. No threats exist anymore. The states can do better alone.
""We don't need a strong federal union for strength anymore because Great Britain no longer threatens the American states.""
It never did. The 'states' were actually British colonies. They were British run and British controlled. Britain never was ever interested in taking them back. On the contrary, America tried to take Canada...and failed.
The Bonnie Blue flag is a lone star, in a field of blue. It stands for secession. The states can govern themselves on their own without the union.
Actually, Madison's constitution was an experiment in government. Such a system was untried & new in 1787. It's pretty obvious that the experiment has failed. Our centralist government has grown so powerful as to judge itself, whereas the states were supposed to keep this centralist power in check. The states lost their power after the civil war.
Like what? Like ending occupation of foreign countries? Balancing the budget? Abolishing the federal Reserve which destroys the value of the dollar in order to enrich bankers? Like ending the futile drug war? Like Defending civil liberties? Like following the Constitution? YEAH, THOSE IDEAS ARE ALL NUTS.
Name a few dirty republicans to justify your ignorant rants. Have you really looked at the democratic party? The Democrats have been buyinng votes for the health care package. Where all that "Stimulus money" really going? It paying off everyone that did favors for Obama to get him elected. How much was Blogovech selling his seat for? The Democrats have destroyed America.
RIP USA 1776-2008
They even made the empire stateb uilding glow red on the aniversay of MAO'S bloody coup in China.
Dont get fooled again. LMAO .. yea all you idiots who thought Bush was a joke, yea your new messiah Obama not only FOOLED you but you threw your heart, soul and efforts into his fraudulent self. Fooled, lol ... yea, we know who really got fooled.
I think you missed the whole point of this song. The last two lines sum it all up ... "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss". BTW - A recent poll shows that a mojority of the people surveyed would rather have Bush back in office.
Ummm... There's a good chunk of time missing here... The song is like, eight minutes and some-odd seconds long... Just sayin'... At least you had the long "YEEEAAAHHH!!!" part... I love that part... It literally gives me goosebumps when I hear it... I love it... Later...
Yeah, I cut some of the song out because I didn't have images to illustrate that part (and I needed to get it done), and the piece was already pretty long as it was.
The military is a TOOL of the government elites...that 1% of the population that benefit from crimes like Vietnam and Iraq. Don't wave your 'service' to your country at me like it gives you more right to an opinion. When you enlist, you get to stop doing your own thinking...a luxury the rest of us choose to waive. Who's the 'coward'? Corruption is corruption except you serve it.
I cannot believe that people are still commenting about whose better, the Reps or the Dems?! They are BOTH CROOKS.
They all are corrupt, and they are only about dividing the country, which they are doing a great job. They don't care about the common man, only themselves.
u do realize thats what this song is about right? its about lying polititians specifically the republican bcuz is written about a corrupt britsh govt very similar to the bush administration so this video is actually done quite well.
trouble is we were fooled again after disatrous vietnam war and were at again in iraq and afg and all it took was a moron like bush and his party and and the chickenhawks on neo nut radio
All i saw this whole time was a classic song used by liberal terrorists that would have us tuck tail and run for shelter behind a government that tells us when to eat, shit, sleep, breath, etc....... I'm highly offended that people would take the time to not only ruin a classic work of art but promote the progress of idiocracy in America. I'm a Marine doing my duty. It's not my fault most liberal cowards cant raise a rifle to support the nation. The fact is we elected the leader. ACCEPT IT!
kennedy was the last real president! never never never submit to a world government, read roland bleiker, he'll tell you about the threats of the bureaucracy that is threatening to destroy us!!!
Just like the song says, "the slow burn is replaced by the fire." How appropriate to the current times. We replaced bad with worse. The only thing that has changed is the speed of the swirl pulling us down the toilet.
-and now we have a rubber stamp Democrat congress and Obama trashing the dollar, skyrocketing the deficit, and plunging us into unrecoverable debt- I didn't vote for any of them, and tried my best to tell everyone I knew that this was not the change they thought they were going to get. Who got fooled this time?
Politicians are ALL fucking liars. Obama made some very pretty speeches making some hefty promises. Promises lots of us believed in... He was our contender, one that would fight for America's long disadvantaged working class... What CHANGE has he given us??? LOL Seriously, "the world looks just the same and history ain't changed".
oh really, Ray? You think OBAMA is any better? Hell, NO! Obama is so freakin narcissistic and below-average stupid, he makes W Bush seem closer to Einstein.
Honey, I don't think anyone could be dumber than George W. Bush. Obama has proven to be a bomb, but, he certainly is a lot smarter than Bush. He managed to make suckers out of the American people who voted him into office... He's same as the old boss. They don't work for anyone but themselves, their buddies and the status quo.
Bush sucks you are right the last reaql great president we had was JFK or Reagan...Not all these other puppets like Obama, Bush Jr., Bush, Clinton, Carter...
Don't know what you mean about trying to force my views on others. I'm just expressing them. If you don't like being exposed to views you might not agree with, I would recommend not watching Youtube videos, reading the newspaper, talking to people, or watching TV news (except maybe Fox).
And I think you meant "they're called" instead of "there called"...
way to try to force your belief on others... not that im democrat of republican, its just ridiculous, you dont like republicans ok, but dont try to impliment your views on others, there called YOUR views, not mine...
The irony is if you listen to the lyrics, the meaning of this song has been butchered. "The change it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the fold, that's all And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed ..." "There's nothing in the streets Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye And the party on the left Is now the party on the right" "Meet the new boss Same as the old boss" Message: Change happens, but the world stays the same.
I'm a Canadian & I can't believe that Americans were dumb enough to vote for that Obamination that is called President- u know the liar& usurper that is turning the American Republic into a Socialistic State....the one that wants to decide WHO gets medical treatment & who doesn't. Better start studying & reading your Politics honey because you will be shocked!. AND - he claims to be Christian & sat under that Pastor Wright for 20 yrs who was so WRONG! .... read - read- read,
Suggest you stick with observing Canadian Politics & stop sticking your toe into American Politics when you don't have a clue what you're talking about! So glad Bush got in can't imagine what would have happened with that total goof ball Al Gore - now, if you want to talk pathetic & a catasrophe - he;s it. Suggest you learn how to debate with a little bit of class I wouldn't want Americans to think all Canadians have a filthy mouth like you.
It's sad how people still think there's any substantial difference between Democrats and Republicans which is why this country elects a bigger moron every single election and fills the Congress with 99% clowns. In the end we all have less freedom, less money (of a decreased purchasing power), and more enemies.
Vote Democrat? Fuck that shit. Don't get me wrong, Bush and his cronies (and his family) are all a bunch of fucking assholes but I didn't vote that that dumb-ass, race baiter we now have in the White House. McCain would have made a good president; better than some fucking shit head, liberal democrat anyway.
Hey faggit, I don't care if you posted this a year ago. You're still a bitch, and if you don't want no comments remove this shit, you fuckin asshole. And ya suck bush's royal dick and choke on a bone, you inbred illuminati piece of shit.
I never noticed that Mr.Bush on that fateful 9/11 day while at the photo opt for the reading of "My Pet Goat" was holding the book upside down

& They were right
RayinDC 1 year ago
@RayinDC Bush Recession? You should call it "Democrat Congress Recession" as things were booming until Pelosi and Reid took congress, refusing to let Bush rein in Freddie and Fannie. And yes, the 9% unemployment is Obama's fault. Or do you think him saying "worst economy in 80 years" didn't spook confidence and all his tax-and-regulation keep money out of the economy? IT IS NOW OBAMA'S ECONOMY, and if he has "created" any private sector jobs they are all people making the McRib.
Srd1126 1 year ago
@Srd1126 Yes, Bush recession. That's why the GOP ran as far away from Bush as it could in 2008, and that's why Obama was elected in such a resounding repudiation of GOP policies. That claptrap about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is absurd -- no respectable conservative economist believes they caused the recession, or that the Congress "refused to let Bush" rein them in. Like your godess-queen Sarah Palin says, "stop makin' stuff up!"
RayinDC 1 year ago
@RayinDC And the Obama policies worked so well that Dems running for re-election to the extent that they mentioned them at all said they voted AGAINST them. Hee Hee. You should get out more, the mortgage crisis is known to have caused the recession, that Barney Frank and other Dems wanted them to keep lending money based on skin color and not qualifications is well known. You need to watch something fair and balanced for your news.
Srd1126 1 year ago
@Srd1126 You mean watch "fair and balanced" Fox? No thanks. I actually read for my news: The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, etc. And I have a masters degree in economics. How about you? What you say is "well known" is only the case with misinformed folks like yourself. You're right that a lot of "conservative Dems did run away from Obama, but notice that they're the ones that lost: 76 of the 80 members of the progressive caucus were reelected, while 24 of the 53 Blue Dogs weren't.
RayinDC 1 year ago
@RayinDC 76 dems in gerrymandered districts where people would vote for Fidel Castro if he had a (D) by his name is news? Even those dems ran away from Obama. No one who reads WSJ regularly (and I do!) would have such silly economic beliefs as you. Perhaps in getting your masters you spent all your time on campus and none in the real world?
Srd1126 1 year ago
@Srd1126 It's funny you bring up gerrymandering, since that's what previous House Majority Leader Tom Dancin' Shoes Delay is on trial for breaking Texas campaign finance laws to do. Not sure what of my economic views you think are "silly." The ones that don't agree with whatever your beliefs are maybe? And no, I am not and never was an academic. It also just so happens that I put myself through college and grad school by working blue collar jobs during summer and winter breaks.
RayinDC 1 year ago
@Srd1126 And of course all Democratic Party members would vote for Fidel Castro, since as you and others like you constantly point out, we're all Dirty Pinko Commies.
RayinDC 1 year ago
@RayinDC Yeah...'Dirty Pinko Commies' is all they have. Logic seemingly isn't in their repertoir. Ahh conservatives, say they represent the 'average' American. That's cool as long as you're white, straight, a Christian and own a couple of Corporations. Any 'difference' or deviation from the narrow ideal is deeply threatening to them. Makes 'em gutless bastards in my book. Elitist pigs.
Geekman333 1 year ago
@Srd1126 And the idea that Obama saying (truthfully) that the economy is bad could "spook" people enough to cause the economic crash (which happened before he said that)? That's laughable. It is now Obama's economy, and his policies have made it a lot better than it was under the Repubs. And please, stop parotting Fox News and the Drudge Report and look at some actual statistics before you spout off that nonsense about jobs. And start thinking about why you hate Obama so much.
RayinDC 1 year ago
@RayinDC Yes, a major POTUS candidate sayiing things are bad spooks people--why wouldn't it? ANd he was saying it way before the crash, for two years in fact. The "stastics" are from the Dept of Commerce, not FNC. I don't like Obama because he is more concerned about illegal aliens and muslims than working Americans. Since Obama is a muslim it would explain his hatres of American Values. Perhaps you should think why you hate the GOP so much? Your posts are full of racism and hate, BTW.
Srd1126 1 year ago
@Srd1126 You are really going off the deep end here. If your statistics are DOC, cite a link. And Obama is a Muslim? And you say I'm racist? Who and what am I supposedly racist against? I don't hate the GOP -- I'm actually a fiscal conservative, which 40 years ago might have made me a Republican but now makes me a Dem. And the illegal alien thing? Boy, you must be a racist to throw both that and the Muslim thing out in a single comment. Did you not even know that illegal repatriation is way up?
RayinDC 1 year ago
@RayinDC Jobs report is put out first friday of every month, you would know if you read the WSJ. Yes, Obama is a muslim. What is racist about pointing that out? Illegal repatriation being up if it even is would be a legacy of the Bush years as Obama sues states that try to enforce federal immigration laws and drops trials. Your racism keeps showing. Dems bsing fiscally responsible? I hope you are not subject to drug tests at work!
Srd1126 1 year ago
@Srd1126 You keep spouting more and more crap without basis. The job reports show signficant job creation. The Washington Post has done a full series on immigration enforcement which shows the increase in enforcement under Obama. What have I said that is racist, and what do you base this irrational belief that Obama is Muslim on? And BTW, I don't do any drugs, ever (except for beer or wine with dinner).
RayinDC 1 year ago

RayinDC 1 year ago
Zach's got it right. They're all evil and it goes right back to money. Everything else is extraneous and a simple tool to control the masses and manipulate the so-called "vote". Oh, and for what that's worth, the "vote" doesn't matter, either. Shrub's presidency is proof of that. Great video!!

Vote minor.
Songwriter4God 1 year ago
If you can't tell that Dems are better than more Republican Rule after George Bush, then you need to pay attention to the news. As far as other parties are concerned, Libertarians are crazy, and the "Constitution Party" is a misnomer because the first thing it does is throw out the separation of Church and State, which is fundamental to our democracy. And even if one agrees with a third party platform, the fact is that we have two party system, and we need to work within those constraints.
RayinDC 1 year ago
Why is "separation of church and state" so good? It's nowhere in the Constitution. It was in a letter Thomas Jefferson wrote about the government not being involved with a specific denomination, the main reason many settlers came to the US. It's falsely represented and not what the Founding Fathers intended.
The Constitution Party is undeniably better, they respect the Constitution as supreme law of the land and as intended and with a Christian view. Like the Founding Fathers.
Songwriter4God 1 year ago
Separation of church of state is in the Constitution. It's in the 1st Amendment and is called the Establishment Clause: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."
RayinDC 1 year ago
You're completely contradictory. No. Nowhere in the Constitution does it allude to separation of church and state. NOWHERE! That clause doesn't say that leaders of state can't be Christian, or pray in public, or that public places can't display a cross or something. Nowhere. That's saying they can't say "Catholics are right and you're all wrong, either accept the Catholic faith or leave our country or die." (Although, I personally think Catholics are heretics, just chose them 'cause of history.)
Songwriter4God 1 year ago
Sorry, but you're wrong again. And noone (myself included) ever said that national leaders can't be Christian, as many are. They just can't establish a national religion. That's what the Establishment Clause means, which IS separation of church and state. How else would you interpret the plain language of the First Amendment?

me to and whats the bonnie blue
eagerbeaver53 2 years ago
@eagerbeaver53 The Bonnie Blue is a blue flag having one white star in the middle of the field. It stands for 1 sovereign and independent state. It has also been used as a secession flag. The union of American states is politically outdated. Our founding fathers created the federal union for strength. We don't need a strong federal union for strength anymore because Great Britain no longer threatens the American states. No threats exist anymore. The states can do better alone.
xbones101 1 year ago
@xbones101
""We don't need a strong federal union for strength anymore because Great Britain no longer threatens the American states.""
It never did. The 'states' were actually British colonies. They were British run and British controlled. Britain never was ever interested in taking them back. On the contrary, America tried to take Canada...and failed.
FredFoswell 1 year ago
The Bonnie Blue flag is a lone star, in a field of blue. It stands for secession. The states can govern themselves on their own without the union.
Actually, Madison's constitution was an experiment in government. Such a system was untried & new in 1787. It's pretty obvious that the experiment has failed. Our centralist government has grown so powerful as to judge itself, whereas the states were supposed to keep this centralist power in check. The states lost their power after the civil war.
