@DJCelestio You must not be too familiar with Sigur Ros? It's a common motif in a lot of their stuff :) It actually makes me feel a little nostalgic? I dunno.. But I often think creepy music is nice hahaha
BBC review that "Lúppulagið is six minutes of elegant piano ambience that comprises either an anti-climax or the calm after the storm" ... sounds to me like the calm after the storm.
@VROGROUP despite closing songs like Untitled 8 on ( ) being amazingly epic, I sometimes prefer something calm and slow like this to bring the album out. i always like to think of it as that perfect cigarette after some really good sex
Many of Sigur Rós's songs slowly build up to a huge climax, and then at the very end it collapses and becomes very quiet. To me, this song represents the end. During their whole career their music became more and more explosive and deep, but like their songs, there has to be that quiet ending that makes you realize how beautiful the loudness was. And I think this song is that 'ending'.
It does sound like a goodbye song. But I truly hope its not.
@chewthetrain I disagree, the subtleness and simplicity of this song is excellent, not perfect...not by a long shot...its simple and subtle...its how is should be.
48 hours, over 11,000 views. I'm not good at math, but I can just assume that this has been playing around the clock, around the world since it's been put up. I think that this should continue to happen, forever.
I know this isn't a song to make you feel happy. It's just a song that makes you remember the different aspects of your life. And it's sometimes good to see that side of what's in there, in your heart...

It's such a beautiful song. Shame about the strange shaky voice or violin in the background. Can't concentrate on the melody...

beautiful amazinging perfectly true
running falling inside of you
becoming me inside of the place
we first met on the dance floor when we met
i looked into your eyes then kissed you
you looked into mine and kissed me too
electricity rose up from my toes
and made the moment forever in my soul
