how do u make the phone stop asking for the original battery and take the damn extended life battery and charge it. it took it the first time but when i went to recharge it the phone kept saying use the genuine battery

there is an easier way to do this. save a ringtione to ur PC, or make ur down.. go to your email and type in the send to: yournumber@vzwpix.com (ex. 5558001234@vzwpix.com).. the click attach file & find ur ringtone in a file folderr in ur comp. once file is attached click send. few minutes later you'll begin recieving a pic msg on ur phone. open the message n ur ringtone shuld start playin. click options then save as ringtone. waaahhh-lahhh! simple & freee . ive been doing it like this for year

o and the filesystem was not on the bitpim i got so it toke me a bit to find it but it woks after i found it but if any has this same problem go to view and CLICK on VIEW FILESYSTEM and it should come up p.s WYNTERKA thanks so much for the video the best video for this phone all the other ones suck because there done by little kids that don't know what there doing

When putting your ringtone in the folder, what file does it have to be? WMA or MP3?

Ringtone doesnt need to be under 30 seconds, mine is 3 mins.

Hey great video, I just got a used env2 today and I'm trying to learn about all the customization options. Thanks to this video I figured out the ringtones, but I would really like to get an animated background like you have. Are you planning on posting another video on how you did that?

To be completely honest, don't take offense to the comments that people say. Sure, you did ramble on about pretty useless stuff but as you mentioned this is your first Youtube vid, so the courage you had to must have took a lot. Sure it's uber old but still. Just thought I'd say that bitpim's been around for ages. Although it's a great app the newest version allows you to send ringtones over without having to use the filesystem browser.

Funny, I did all this long ago without that driver your talking about, accessed the phone files via MY COMPUTER! Just COPY and PASTE ringtones from my pc to the folder.
