@mwketelaar Good idea! :)) The string that I use (only for my Framus and especially for slide) are Thomastik-Infeld (Jazz BeBop, round wound, not! the flat wound, .014-.055). Thank you, Lena
I have a guitar like this one since 1963,,as a kid,, except color is diff, tailgate is curved (Sorella logo) and I had a small amp with it, Dynacord, which my brother destroyed.amp was small, blue in color, great echo/tremlo, amp chord was RCA jack one end and 4-5 pin for amp, I remember that, plus it had a foot switch (3 prong in rear of amp) the amp/guitar sounded great, I plan to restore mine soon, just finished on my 1973 es-335
Christopher
Yes, pickup are original (end 1950th, beginning 1960th). But please notice that this video is recorded by micro not the pickups. But I think I should to it with pickups too ....
Einfach schoen gespielt. Thanks.
Thanks Frank! I was thinking long time about getting authentically with these wonderful old blues songs. (Singing in my Germanamericanenglish slang will bear monsters). I decided that the best way to be true would be to play them in a style like this. Actually I'm studying John Fahey style to make them better. Hope you like it too. :=))
Wow, really impressed. I play myself and admire your alternating bass. I know it takes some work to play alternating bass and slide. Once I learned the technique, it was like riding a bicycle. Great work, keep pickin
