  • karrem said

  • christ that guy howls almost as well as the real wolf :D

  • He was playing his part good af lol. Smoooke stack light nen .....

  • This guy is more howlin wolf than the actual wolf

  • What I love about this movie is that the producers cast singers who were able to produce respectable covers of these tunes, adding a bit of their own stuff but retaining the flavor of the originals.

  • VIAGRA.... LOL

  • My favorite scene in the movie, this man is HOT as HELL!!

  • i was born 1979 but i remember hearing this song and just melting.....

  • @jkiss079 ikr he is sooooo SEXY I seen him doing an Interview and I was blown away cause on the movie he has a DEEP voice but in actuality he has a very Strong ACCENT like Idris Alba

  • @ingloriousGenius87 who sexy? Eamonn Walker?

  • lil walter wuz a true thug

  • Go ahead sexy lol!

  • Big fan of The Wolf right here.

But somehow drifted into this version. Very beautifull. I haven't seen the movie, so i was a little surprised when i found out that this cool voice is Eamonn. Stands side by side with Howlin. By the way walker is, in my opinion one of the best black actors ever. But very, very underrated. We should see him in more primary roles. He sure can hold the show. He does such a good job recreating howlin's raw singing

    P.s: GOTTA SEE THIS MOVIE.

  • It always trips me out seeing Chess flip that gun! *lol* I always get a giggle out of it. :)

  • @chrysalys85 Lovin Howlin Wolf CADILLAC RECORDS VERSION cause the real Wolf song to this don't sound nothing like THIS ONE

  • @ingloriousGenius87 agreed.

  • Who is the original actor from this song?

  • Love this scene!!

  • Chess Records is a great story but this movie was pretty lame.

  • @AllBobsAllTheTime Yeah. I thought it had potential but it never really got there. I will say that Eamon Walker did a great job and I was pleasantly surprised by this cover.

  • such a good actor.....and awesome song too

  • The hardest scene from a very underrated movie. Eamonn Walker FTW. You wouldn't even know the brotha was British the way he puts it down here. Wolf would've approved this for sure!

  • KAREEM SAID FROM OZ HA HA HA HA

  • Looks wise ............. He kind of looks like a colored Freddie Mercury. Look closely at the mouth and eyes. The face shape even. But he's got a DAMN Sexy voice Xxx

  • @DaneaKISS OOH YEAH.

  • just sexy!

  • ALPHAMALE! sexy, almost made me howl. he was one of the only two characters that i liked in the movie

  • @TXejas19 smh that howling was sexy and he made it look so good.

  • I wonder if the dude was really singing that?

  • @townofed Yeah, that was him. He was lip syncing of course, but Howling Wolf's version is slightly different as as far as how he comes off, etc. So yeah, it's him

  • auuuuuuuuuu auuuuuuuuuuuu

  • youngin's nowadays think they invented "gangsta". thugs have always been around. they just used to know how to dress and comb their hair.

this was a great scene. that dude is intimidating as hell!

  • @swervon617 yeeeeeeeees!!!!

  • It's amazing how the British can change their accent to sound American. The British accent is better but he had to play the role!!! He did a darn great job!!!!! *melt* I see why women in those days melt over male stars in those days...BECAUSE THEY HAD REAL TALENT!!!!!!

  • i swear i hated howlin wolf in the beginin of the movie. bt wen i watched the end, he made sense, and i had respect for him lol. da guy who playe howlin wolf did a good job too, he looked like him, and sounded like him

  • @loveslam1 the piece of music is called "smokestack lightning" by howlin' wolf. its pre-existing, its blues from the early 1900s. and yea its familiar if u heard dis piece on the viagra commercials

  • When he says, "Tell me baby", and then lips his lips......makes me crazy!!!

  • Both men are so sexy......the real HW and the actor who portrayed him in the movie.

  • someone tell me the name on that song plzz

  • he stole the whole movie with that scene alone.

  • @sagequan Damn right!

  • The one playin Wolf in the movie is one of tthe purttiest thang I ever did see.

  • On top of all he was such a badass. Rockstars of today had nothing on this guys...

  • Anybody noticed Hubert Sumlin (the real one) is playing there?Beside his younger version.

    Man, that's awesome!

  • Love the movie Cadillac Records. But it was just something about the way Howling Wolf was howling and looking at Muddy Waters and the way Muddy Waters was looking back at him. That actually was one of my favorite parts of the movie. Like the commercial too :)

  • Howlin Wolf has such a unique voice. It's like he didn't want copy anyone. That's what I like about him most

  • @diamondsocute1 actually he's quoted as sayin he tries to emulate Charlie Patton's singing - sounds nothin like him though

  • @busessuck1 oh well i stil love him

  • i did a project on him in 5th grade and im so glad i did

  • Perfect guy to play Howlin Wolf

  • whats da name of dis song????

  • @nekruz11 Smokestack' Ligthning' ... y Aguante el Blues Carajo!! no puedo creer q' todavia no haya visto esta Pelicula , jajaaa el Aullido del Loco, q' Grande!!

  • @Sampipower yep i found but i dont understand spanish

  • America had all of this talent right under their noses back then, but it was the Brits who embraced Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Sun House, and their entire sound of the time (and earlier). With out these guys there would have never been a British Invasion of the 60's, to a lesser extent, the 70's (Zep) and more currently Jack White and bands like The Black Keys.

  • I LOVE this effing movie! ALL of the musicians, originals and people who played the parts in this movie are SO talented it's unbelievable!

  • I agree he is sexy

  • ohhh love the low voice damn hotttttt

  • How Many More Years or Killin' Floor would have been a lot better choice for the movie.

  • Sorry about the previous typo, but he had me hot and bothered. Yeah he's sexy alright! Man... all man. Howl for me sexy.... uhmm. (Writing inspiration)

  • Oh yeah... not that's a man!

  • sexyyy can make me howl anytime ;)

  • I downloaded this from i tunes. it is the best

  • When Adrian Brody says "Get your girl outta the ring" it makes this scene that much better. Then the voice over makes it 100% harder. Such a great scene.

  • I agree.....best part of the movie by far.

  • the other guitar is the great kay thin twin

  • Hey what's that guitarist's guitar next to the gibson es335 guitarist?

  • @mokkakikkeli1 No idea but it looks alot like an old airline style guitar... eastwood guitars do a few guitars like that based on old 50's models

  • @mokkakikkeli1 its a kay thin twin

  • i love this movie

  • sexy as he want to be.

  • Five people have puss oozing out of their ears!

  • OMJesus....This man tuch me in places within this one scene that most men are cluesless to the fact. .. Of what it is to take a woman THERE. He has got to be one of the most beautiful Black men Iv'e ever seen. I love him just because he is me. Not to mention he was raised in england. He could errouse me in conversation alone! and i'd be right there putting cheese on everything God dang thing! This Brother get a 10 straight from the Mother Doctor, Savannah 32, and Slowrider9047! My My My....

  • @JonnyMonk3782001 sure sounds a hell of a lot like him huh!

  • this was ah realy great movie and it was over looked cause i guess it does not portray black doin something positive instead of creative like dis!! i guess dey like dah drama...this movies was GREAT!!

  • amazing song

  • Is the second guitarist the real Hubert Sumlin? Kinda looks like him.

  • @churbolnz That is the real Hubert Sumlin! I'm glad someone else noticed him!

  • were they really rivals?and did wolf really threaten to kill muddy?or was that just for the movie?

  • @choppa1710

Howlin' Wolf was not so violent as people like to say. He certainly looked the part though.

But he was a really smart man who maintained his proper royalties and dealt out health insurance to his band, and he never got into womanizing or drugs or alcohol like his contemporaries. And he had an awesome raw talent for the blues.

  • @Lamporre

Totally right. Thanks for setting the record straight about him =)

  • @Lamporre Not sure if anyone knows this but Howling Wolf's guitarist Hubert Sumlin played himself in this movie. If you watch this clip he is the guitarist on the left in the hat and he is awesome! Great character and player. You cant help but smile after listening to him. :-)

  • @Lamporre but he certainly took no s@#t from Muddy, or anyone else

  • @Lamporre da u know tha meanin of blues it mean wen u broke and aint got no money

  • @choppa1710 Muddy and the Wolf were rivals....Muddy always felt that he ran Chicago because he arrived in 1943 where as Wolf hit the Windy City in 1951...Wolf was once quoted as saying about Muddy along the lines of "There are some people who think they are better than you" Muddy saw himself as sophisticated and urbane, and saw Wolf as backwoods and country as the Mississippi Delta he left in '43.....

  • this is my 2nd favorite song in the movie.

  • So did they actually put women in the studio back in the 50s to get this type of energy? Gahh! This is the BLUES!

  • WHICH ONE OF YOU MUTHAFUCKAZ IS LITTLE WALTER? (POW!!!!!!) LOL!!!!!!

  • @TRACKSANGUINIS1 yup funny!!!

  • sound like rawkus from the BOONDOCKS narrating lol!!!!!!!

  • @TRACKSANGUINIS1 whats boondocks? a blues band?

  • @sagequan No, Boondocks is an animated cartoon that comes on Adult swim (Cartoon Network). Search Uncle Ruckus on here, you'll see how they sound alike.

  • @TRACKSANGUINIS1 LMaooo you're right he sounds just like him!

  • The mannerisms and voice are unnervingly accurate. Fantatic acting.

  • I agree, best scene in the movie!

  • I've been a huge Howlin' Wolf fan for over 20 years. Looks like he did the old man justice.

  • Awesome performance! Great movie.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Songs sooo good Its fuckin SEXY! <3

  • I luv this is song this is also my favorite scene.Wolf definitely needs his own movie I did not hear about him before the movie. This actor is incredible if he is the one that is singing because this version sounds better than the original version from Howling Wolf.He is also a very good actor he got Wolf's voice and mannerisms down .Hollywood make a movie on Howling Wolf and Little Walters life they seem VERY INTERESTING
