I'm hoosier, lived here all my life, and will confirm with RODMUNCH1973. Although NW, Indy, and Bloomington are very much liberal, it because the population have higher % of college diplomas. It's really simple, the more educated in Indiana vote Obama, and the dumb in this state vote for dumb, barely pass community college candidates like Palin. It's just that simple. Look at the voting trends of this state and compated to the % of college degree holders. It's just that simple.
There is no trend estado. How many jobless dropouts would love to, "share the wealth?" I can't believe that people are calling conservatives "dumb" or "uneducated". Hoosiers are without a doubt, the most backward, conservative, lilly-white people in this country. Sarah Palin is far from brilliant, and while she is constitutionally qualified to run for this office, she is intellectually unqualified.
You state how she is not intellectually qualified and claim Hoosiers are backwards. Obviously, you are NOT a Hoosier or you would have realized the stupidity of such a remark. Indiana University, as well as Bloomington, is one of the most liberal hot spots in America. Any intellectual would snap shut before making such a ridiculous remark, but clearly you show what you lack. One thing you do have is a sense of irony.
Look---Sarah Palin is a GOVERNOR...you don't get to the highest office in a state by being a "moron/idiot" all of you lefties like to call her and people that support her....you are just scared that your chosen one is being exposed by this BRILLIANT WOMAN! She has more executive experience in her pinky finger than anyone else running....that even includes the top of the republican ticket. However, MCCain has proven over the years that he is also an incredible leader.
No joke, what major legislation has Obama ever sponsored in his entire three years (three years!) in the Senate. He has little relevant experience. Gov. Palin has run an executive branch of gov't, as Mayor and as Governor. Sen. Obama has run what? Not a business, not a corporation, not an organization, no executive positon of any kind.
