  • Thanks for posting my friend

I'm an opera singer too and over his sublime voice Hermann prey is an incredible interprete. The today popular baritones are more busy to their Marketing image and product just beautiful sounds without passion and hearth. Unfortunately, Hvorostovsky is a perfect exemple of that, but he has a wonderful instrument....that's all.

To me, the Hermann Prey pianist is fabulous and they had a long way together these two fellows... :-)

    Friendless

  • I am deeply touched by this Dichterliebe. He sings it with an uncommon warmth and introspection. His expression is sincere and heartfelt.

  • Singt er bei "Am leuchtenden Sommermorgen" den Schluss in der Kopfstimme?

  • His voice is so beautiful and touching. A true artist...

  • Beautiful tenderness Prey brings to this great Romantic song cycle. Oh, and happy 200th birthday, Robt. Schumann!

  • Prey's interpretation of this cycle has to be one of the most heartfelt ever. Thank you for sharing this with all of us and hopefully help the younger generation discover this unique ARTIST.

  • The piano is a bit loud and distrcting above the singing, or perhaps the audio quality of the recording (in relation to his singing) isn't great.

  • I feel the piano is too loud and distracting above the singing...

  • splendido duo quello di hermann prey e leonard hokanson, grande poesia in musica......
