I was listening the whole album (Como te LLama) and this was one, in a few songs, i enjoy; like someone else said before...its like a basic Strokes, but a really good work. Now, i will try his other album!
dear albert hammond jr, please make another album with this band becuase the albums you made were fucking amazing!! Also, please make another five strokes albums, that is all. thanks.
i think Albert's solo albums kinda tell everyone how much of an influence he had on The Strokes' sound. Julian Casablancas has always been credited as the principal song writer, which he is no doubt. But Albert's solo stuff, kinda tells me that his and Nick Valensi's rhythm styles were the backbone to their sound.
in my opinion, the most comfortable way to hold a guitar is somewhere just below the chest area(torso)albert is way way up. cos TO ME,i cant shred when its too low,its amazing FOR ME to see how some ppl can.
I'm 6'4" and like it about my waist/Johnson area. of the last 12 yrs i've played, I spent some in a large strokes phase and adopted Albert's technique until I realized his height of guitar limited the fluidity of the entire workings of the arm to basically rest upon the hinge of the elbow.. But at least you have ridiculous access to the neck of the guitar.
well nick's been playing since like age 5. i think you should give him more credit. they're both amazing at what they do. something doesnt always have to be better than another
I guess Nick + Albert is the best combination ever,I donno, maybe Nick and Albert were born to meet each other and together make awsome music for people like u and me.
I miss you already.

depends on height of player that decides comfortability i think.

the instruments playing sound like the strokes. although albert gives the song the noticeable difference, i think
alexpalalove 2 years ago
I kind of like how they ended it in a major chord. : ]

this sounds just like the strokes except for the lyrics
ellioteaston93 3 years ago
