Ethiopians have never been slaves of any arab. It is rather the other way around. Does the name Abraha AL-Ashram bring a bell. Ethiopians ruled Yemen and Hejaz of Saudi Arabia for long time.
Even The Quran mentions the great Ethiopians who came to subdue the Qurayesh in Sura al-fil, 105th Sura.

That is OK with me, if that is what Muslims would like to believe. The fact is that the Arabs never put up a fight because they were unable to. Yemen is not mentioned. Civilization spread from Ethiopia to Yemen otherwise Yemen would not have any civilization. Saba was on the two Niles near the Mareb River in Modern Ethiopia and Sudan. I have nothing but great respect for your deep abiding love for your beloved country Yemen. But facts are facts and the truth has enough legs to stand on its own. You can not wish the truth away. And the truth is the Kingdom of Saba in Sudan/Ethiopia/Eritrea was already 2000 years old in Africa before any Sabaens (then Africans) ever crossed over into what is now Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Even the city Mareb in Yemen was founded by Africans from the Mareb River Valley in Eritrea/Ethiopia.
