  • Very nice! We just premiered Crumb's latest work in Philadelphia and nearby Swarthmore, PA. Check out our page for video!

  • Thank you for uploading this extraordinary work.

  • Congratulations so much!! Very well played, and of course, very good music!!

  • nice work from three concentrated mucisians here. bravo.

  • Nice!!

  • I've always been open and receptive to new music, but this seems to fit the "new noise" category. Maybe it will work for mood music in a movie. Right now, it's just giving me a headache.

  • i think this song is beautiful. it captures so many emotions.

angst, trepidation, hope. i thought the resolution was particularly nice.

    good stuff!!!

  • First time i ever thumbs downed you Stephan. This is not music, it is noise. About as entertaining as listening to a garbage disposal choke on a chicken bone......

  • @micropickletwo Idiot! You may say you find it boring, you are entitled to say you don't like it, but It is art. Just because it's above your understanding you do not have the right to say it's not music. I love this and it blows my mind that such young musicians can lay such expression into this beautiful work.

  • @moltoallegro19 i love the pretentiousness of people like you. Some one has to say it, the emperor has no clothes. Bach is art, this is garbage. But if you REALLY think this is art, you are correct, there is ONE idiot in this conversation.

  • @micropickletwo I'm not being pretentious, I'm being frank. You have no right to dismiss this as non-music. Bach is art, Bach is better than this, but, still, Bach is a totally different kind of art, a more mathematical and melodiac art, while this is trying to mediate a whole different thing to what master B ever intended. You're being the pretentious one when you put yourself as highest authority in determining what's art and not.

  • @moltoallegro19 interesting, you deny me the choice to define art, but the last clause in the first sentence of your first post says categorically that this is art. Hypocrite. It has no rhythm, it has no melody, and is excrutiating on the ears. I guess you can call that music, but it's like going to an open field with no lines and no net, whacking a ball around, and calling it tennis. Calling it something it is not does not make it what you call it.

  • @micropickletwo It is far more justified to claim this is art that saying it is not: someone has actually on purpose created this and people listen to this work and enjoy it ever since the day it was first performed. Whether you like this or not - IT IS ART! It is one human trying (and succeeding) to express something and other people recognising it. Might not be your cup of tea and that's allright, but you're just being an ass if you proclaime this non-art on that basis.

  • @micropickletwo Why must music be confined to your tastes to be labelled as music? Smarten up! This has melody and rythm. Creation is just as much art as the finished product. It's like having a conversation with two others. Do you only speak to people about what you like? If so, try listening instead. 22 years of performing music and I enjoyed this. That may tell you something.

  • @MrJro2 I never said it has to be confined to my tastes. I simply stated this God awful noise is not music. Feel free to disagree if you wish. Every one has a right to be wrong.

  • @micropickletwo IT IS MUSIC!!!!! Not God Awful NOISE. I do disagree and will continue to do so. Maybe if you didn't like it, you should have just moved on and tried to find something you do like rather than shitting on someones music instead?

  • @micropickletwo You obviously didn't listen to the section at 14:23. You clearly just listened to the first minute and decided it wasn't for you. This is truly a brilliant work, and I find it frustrating that you're so quick to dismiss it.

  • Interesting...

  • That was intense, so many acoustics.

  • Complimenti, davvero bravi.

  • This is just CRAP!!!

  • Very good, congratulations!

  • Impresionante! muchas felicidades
