OK,I just heard the Nina Simone version and think she is great in her classy and distinct Nina formula-style for this song.This extraordinary accomplished artist sang it like she owns it!Great Stuff!However,her version is a cover.The original version was sang for a 1965 Broadway Musical play"The Roar Of The Greasepaint-The Smell Of The Crowd".This wonderful song has since been covered by 14 artists to include Freda Payne.The production has undoubtedly became a hallmark favorite through the ages.

Like the responses!Yeah it's vinyl format.This is one song not currently on other formats,being vintage and out-of-print.Got a web-cam with audio?Use that!Use Widows Movie Maker and cut on your microphone,then minimize page,set this page, press play.Once play ends,return to WMM and turn off microphone.That's it!Depending on your web-cam,sound quality may be slightly diminished though.Now if it's in your hard drive,I'm sure you know what you need to do to upload it to MP3,CD etc.Thanks too!
