  • Pretty sure it loks like an f150 dumbass. oh wait, thats because it has the body of one... glad we got that cleared up.

  • Ford is actually doing better than Nissan in America. Thanks to the F150. A line of betterthanJap trucks is what has saved GM and Ford.

  • whoever said that truck is like a titan deserves to get there balls cut off so they cant produce anymore retards because this is by far a better truck than the titan shit a regular f150 is better than a titan HAHAHAHA

  • I came.

  • LMFAO! do you even know the specs of either trucks components?

  • LMFAO! AT YOU!... DID YOU EVEN SEE THAT THAT TRUCK LOOKS LIKE A NISSAN TITAN!?! im not worried about the specs, its the body styling. it may have some cool features but why would i spend money on a ford titan when i could buy a nissan titan for possibly more money yeah but for something that is also worth more money!?!

  • in its camouflage i suppose it looks similar to a Titan....but thats about it. if you want a vehicle that is less capable and dare i say for image (lawl) by all means buy the titan and have fun comparing your suv with a bed with tundra owners.

  • i give it a thumbs down... but its true

  • looks like a titan....You do realize that this truck uses the same frame and chaise right? they changed the grill and some paint. Way to fail

  • @grizzlylvr1 ya but u do realize that that f150 can kick a titan ass and leave it in the dust

  • @grizzlylvr1 the rear differential, leaf springs, upper and lower a arms, drive shafts, shocks, shock mounts, ball joints, wheels/tires, and more are all completely redesigned for the raptor. and theres more. and thats without going into the new engine and custom electronics

  • buy a bmw 335D it's 3l diesel that will outrun every american car .... and you get almost 50 mpg on highway :D Trucks suck in every single way except that americans think their $#$%^ get big if they drive big ugly cars

  • bmw is slow as snail shit

  • Unless they are on the autobahn doing 150 mph.

  • Fucking Ford should of built a Gen 3 Insted :(

  • Svt.....BRING BACK THE LIGHTNING!!

  • i thought that till i heard about the Raptor... its waaaaaay cooler than the lightning.

  • Man I really dont know why you Americans dont have turbo diesel trucks.... you could be the best in the world at making turbo diesels cos you drive so damn many trucks.

Chuck away your v8s and ask for twin turbo diesel F150 with 30+mpg and a tsumami of torque.

  • we do.. and they get about the same mpg

  • Youll get more torque with a turbo diesel and much much greater mpg. eg. 21 for a v8 vs 35 TD mpg 'highway'.

Give it 5 years there will be only 1 petrol truck, the rest diesel.

  • yes i know you'll get more torque from a diesel i have one. and a diesel truck does not get 35 mpg 'highway'. Very few gas trucks even get 21 highway, let alone v8's. you do know there already are turbo diesel trucks right?

  • Many diesel trucks get much better than that figure, its just they are not available in America.

In Europe last year 49% of all domestic vehicles sold were diesel. Most suvs and certainly almost all trucks of all sizes have been diesel for many years. My point is that the US is way behind the rest of the world in terms of diesel use, when they could and argueably should be leading the way. Instead the Germans are.

  • No you don't get it. I'm saying there's no way diesel TRUCKS will get 30+ mpg(as you stated), at least in the near future. I know how filled Europe is with German diesel CARS. VW, Audi, Mercedes all have been making diesel engines for a while, but they've mainly been putting them in CARS to get those kinds of numbers. I drive a jetta tdi, the worst i've ever gotten was 35 mpg city. Diesel trucks do not get 30+ mpg even on the highway i dont know where your getting those numbers

  • The L200 Mitsubishi is popular and gets 34mpg... loads of diesel suvs get 35+ mpg. French, Swedish, Spanish, Japanese and German.

As I say im not making it up, all trucks in the rest of the world run on diesel, from huge ones to small ones, simply because its more economical.

In the US you get fuel very cheaply. If you filled up a 25 gallon '08 F150 in England it would cost you about £100, thats $145!!

I have a Volvo S80 diesel that gets 42mpg regularly, and thats nearly a truck/bus...

  • yes this is very true, but the s80 is large car not a truck lol. There's a big difference in the meaning of "truck" in Europe than America, i notice in Europe a truck is anything thats not a car, and in America it's a much bigger because we have full size pickup trucks that are much bigger than pickup trucks in Europe. The l200 is too small for many people's truck needs in the US and is very slow and underpowered. That's why its soo good on gas mileage

  • My initial point was just that America is behind on using diesel. Which is true. I prefer petrol so I don't blame you, I would take the v8 if I could too.

As you said we are used to very high mpg diesel cars so expect similar from other vehicles. I know someone with a little Clio diesel that hits 65+mpg, yeah its quite small but its almost teetotal!

  • haha yea! my jetta is waaayyy too damn slow! Goin with the gas engine next time lol. Or a big diesel

  • I have an 07 GMC Sierra with the Duramax Diesel. With some aftermarket parts and tuning, I have managed 31.1 MPG in my TRUCK at 65 MPH. My brother and I have worked with diesels for years and are now able to tune them for just about anything you want. 30 mpg IS!!! possible in a diesel truck! My wife also drives an 09 Jetta TDI and with tuning she is getting 69 mpg at 65 mph on the highway. Diesels are amazing IF you know how to tap their potential.

  • how much mpg???

  • not enuff

  • Like 10 maybe. Has a 6.2 supercharged V8. But I'm sure it's one hell of a beast.

  • if you are looking to buy an SVT of any sort, i doubt mpg is an issue...

  • The Raptor will be available in the summer of 2009 with the current 5.4 V8 and I think the 6.2 V8 will be available in December of 2009.

This truck is no joke it was built to offroad.

  • the front of the new f-series trucks are hysterical! you crash at 20mph and half your front end is gone

  • This truck is nothing more than a stock F-150 with some bolt on wide fenders, Diffrent seats, new grill a wide rear end and some aftermarket front arms with some fox shocks!! At sema they would conver a stock f-150 into a raptor in a couple hours!! Save your money buy a stock F-150 and put your own suspension on it for cheaper and the truck will work better!!!

  • yeah, i would rather build up my own prerunner, but you can't deny the cool factor of a production truck that can handle terrain like the Raptor does

  • japanese cars suck, fw japs american cars rule

  • its coming out this year or next. not 2010

  • German cars is the best. no other contrys in the world is able to make quality cars like the germans.

  • hey, kid.

get off moms computer and do your homework.

  • I partially agree w/ u man. German and Italian cars are the best. Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Porsche.

  • thats why america sticks with trucks. i agree, american cars are questionable, but trucks is where its at

  • Pull your head out your ass and quit being so ignorant. Japanese cars offer great reliabilty and quality also.

  • Quality? Hardly. Reliability? Yeah I guess.

I have never seen a japanese car IN PERSON which is older than say - 15 to 20 years. Yet, I have seen thousands and thousands of american cars older than even 90-100 years. \

    I wonder why?

  • Because there isn't any Japanese car company in America from 90-100 years ago.

  • Well there was some a lot longer than 15-20 years ago.

    THAT'S what I'm talking about.

  • I get what you're saying...but it also depends where you live. For example, if you live in south US, you wouldn't see many Japanese cars at all. I live in the bay area california, I see Jap cars all day, many of them from the 80's too.

  • I live in Southeast Ontario.

Asian cars dont last here, they rot like cheese sitting around on a hot day

  • Dude i agree with you and i disagree with you. American autos used to stand with quality but lately that has really changed. For instance my friends father just bought the new ZR-1 Corvette for 150k and NOTHING lines up. The hood is crooked the trunk sits at least half an inch higher on one side and the drivers side headlight is pushed in so badly there is an actual gap on top. He also has a 57' bel air and everything lines up perfect.

  • You have never seen a 1988 or older Honda, Nissan, Mazda or Toyota... hmmm, ok then. Ive owned 4 older Japanese cars (RX7's) an 83, 2 84's and an 87... I guess its really rare to see a 20+ year old Japanese car on the road... retard

  • i own a 1980 toyota truck and runs great

  • WHo still buys these things? People who want/need a truck for reasons other than image. F-150's market share is actually INCREASING, showing that there's still plenty of interest in the F-150.

  • You obviously don't live in the southwest. These will be everywhere.
