  • @charodomi hey, i am not sure how the transfer speeds would be on a Clear Brand Device but if it is fast enough instead of using the Clear Brand USB stick use this Specific NetGear Usb unless Clear requires you to use theres in order to work. Im sure there are other brands by now but i still use my specific NetGear today and it works perfect. Only certain Usb sticks are compatible and if it is not then it will not even show up on the menu. Look on ebay even for a refurbished one like mine.

  • Hello JseanSSent, I have a question. I just bought this device and I'm having a hard time, they had told me it has the built in wifi, I found out then it does not. My internet is with Clear or Clearwire, but I use the Wimax the usb mobile modem, I tried plug in the Clear usb thing to this device so I can watch the internet on tv, and it keeps saying no network. Do I still have to get that device you are suggesting? Also, can you give me some other suggestions, cheap suggestions...thanks

  • @a1rjordan Oh but you do have to make sure you are not running dial up or some other slow internet connection.

  • @a1rjordan Everything streams fine. It streams with no lag or pixelation unless the film itself was of a lower qualtiy which i have seen before. I like this particular one because it seems to get signal from a couple floors down with no problems at all.

  • cad camera color

  • @theslaking2 I did not realize white balance had anything to do with this video???!!!!!

  • Just curious. I bought a different Netgear adapter that is supposed to be compatible, but the adapter came with a CD that needs to be run which, of course, can't be done on the TV Plus. How did you get it to work?

  • @TheTexasRyno Hey whats up, You only need the cd which is probably the drivers etc. if you plug it directly into your pc or mac and use it with your wireless router to give your CPU internet using wireless. I am assuming you already have a internet provider. If you do and just have a regular router, you need to tell them you want to add a wireless one to hook to that one so you can stream your internet to another CPU that you have. Comcast only charged me 0-$5. extra a month. when using ....

  • @TheTexasRyno ..........okay this is long because i am not sure what you are aware of and not so i am just going through everything.....anyway when you have a wireless router hooked to your regular router like i do, they will also give you a "key" which is a set of numbers used to feed off of your signal and so no one else can use it without the key. When comcast gave me mine they also gave me a usb stick but set all the drivers etc to my main pc so i needed no disc. Grab after this.......

  • @TheTexasRyno ....okay so after this plug your compatible usb into the WD box. Turn on the box and go to wireless settings. If your wireless is compatible it will show up and your usb stick should blink if there is a light on it. If it is not compatible it will not even give you the option for a wireless stick. In this menu it will ask for your key. If you have lost your key comcast or whoever you have can get it for you again. This key is the same way that i connect my cell to wifi @ home

  • @TheTexasRyno .......didnt mean to go through it so step by step but either way i hope that this helps out. If not let me know and ill try to walk you through it.

  • Thanks man.

  • THANKYOU!! :D

  • Thanks I was looking for this ;) WD doesn't even say anything about which adapter to use..I got it on ebay for $20 and it's WN111 v2 so I'll try it....have you tried screaming movies from your pc?

  • @pifster Im sorry i have been away from the Main Cpu for a few weeks.......But no i still have not streamed from the PC yet but with this and good Internet connection im sure it will be NO problems......IF you got your WN111 in and try it out before i do let me know how it works!.....

  • @pifster Oh if you use Netflix, and watch a movie off of your hard drive first, you have to restart your box and go right to netflix to hear audio>>>not sure if they fixed this bug but its something that happened to me that i figured out.
