There are NPC's but they don't do anything they just run around and if you get too close to them they start attacking you so beware of the NPC's!!!

Man, this game has POTENTIAL!

I can imagine progressing through the game and deciding to make myself a nice little barricaded fort out of a big house and then I would spend too much time in it and slowly but surely all the entrances would get blocked by zombies and then I would run out of food and supplies and I would run out of wood to repair the barricades and sooner or later the zombies would get inside and swarm my fortress and break in, room by room...

Woah - normally I wouldn't have taken a second look at this game (I've played my share of "Run around and be beaten by zombies" games back in University :P), but that description of yours (especially the "build, craft, fortify, salvage" - so that means you don't have to run around equally mindless as the zombies? :D) and the items shown in the video really make me want to give it a try now.

Guess I'll have to check out the earlier videos!

(And find a way to pay other than by Google. :P)
