I love the size of these markets. Going from dairy, to meats, to produce, to canned goods takes seconds, not minutes. As far as food quality, it's variable. I love their fruits, veggies, meats, biscuits, cereals and all the canned goods I've tried. Their sharp cheddar cheese on the other hand, yikes.
@craigjonesslipknot5 Who don't try to eat healthy? That's a bit short-sighted. I love their selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, especially since I can buy a reasonably sized potato, or other veggie/fruit instead of the 6 pound footballs they sell in supermarkets.
I used to work at Aldis, its a really good, clean, efficient grocery store chain. They pay their employees exceptionally well. As a cashier, you will make at least $10/hr. Assistant managers make $40,000/year and managers can make up to $60,000/year. District managers get a free corporate car(Toyota Corolla) and start out at $70,000.
Aldi are still in breach of planning and have chosen to do nothing about the constant noise heard in almost every room in our home, I hate them!! My daughter finds it hard to sleep as a result of the noise, the council have told them to move the fridge and yet they carry on doing just want they want, making money on the back of other peoples misery, I will have my day!!! It's not always easy, they have a weird sort of unfair way of calculating overtime, but the pay is good, work can be hard, can be boring, place is very clean, we do provide sanitary wipes for the carts (we buy them from SAMS Club) and my benefits are good. Most importantly, I HAVE A JOB when millions don't.

aldi shops look quite modern from the outsidebut when you go inside verything is just all over the place. also its a nightmare to get your trolley through the checkout!! i wated 20 minutes before fucking it off and walked out without the shopping
