  • woohoo here we go again! jk. our school schedual is majorly fudged up now for kids who r going sandbagging.

  • i'm glad you took off all the negitive comments on this, pple think we didnt' prepare for this , we saw it coming, BUT u can't predict how a river is gonna act, the weather had so much to do with it, the massive snow we got prior to the warm spell we had one day we barely have snow then the next we get a foot of snow and south of us even more, i live in north fargo right by oak grove thats where i was sandbagging, so pple if u are ruse go fuck yourself

  • any one who says that we did things last minute has no idea!! Next time we go through something like this you get up here and sand bag 12 hours a day! and you tell us how unprepared we are!

  • I am from Fargo and all I can say is that you have NO idea what you are talking about. We did prepare for the melting snow, but mother nature threw rain at us to speed up the melting AND add 3 inches of rain into the mix. This is NOT typical weather. I am proud of the way Fargo/Moorhead banded together to face this disaster. There are very few places in the WORLD that would band together they way we did, and it is obviously something you can't understand.

  • i pray for anyone who lives out there.

my dad lives there and he has been sandbagging for many hours :[

    ~god bless them all

  • Please remove all the garbage talk from this comment list. It's repulsive to read. Keep it clean and just ignore people who write garbage. Don't lower yourself and use language like that. This is such an amazing community and all of you who live there know how unique it is. Don't let ignorant people inflame you. I continue to hope and pray for a safe spring. It seems like you have a long road ahead of you. Keep a positive attitude.

  • I totally agree!!!!!!!!! People are here in Fargo busting their ass and all people can do is watch and complain.

  • thank you

  • I can't wait until this is over and all these shit talkers sit back in their stupidity and say "Wow that's fucking amazing they minimized what could've been maximum damage as a whole."

  • yeah i helped sandbag most of the days for 8 hours or so. i also lost my home because of this flood. i am grateful the water is going down. Thank you to all the people who helped sandbag...it made a tremendous difference! God Bless You!

  • Guitar, so sorry to hear you lost your home. God bless and know you will come out of this stronger than you went into it. Stay strong and keep faith

  • All of you who sit here and talk shit about Fargo and what's going on here are fucking stupid!! Dont talk shit if you haven't been in anyones shoes here you dumb fucks!! People have been busting their asses to help sandbag, that's how god damn respectful and proud our community is!! I hate fucking people like you two inconsiderate mother fuckers!! They are VOLUNTEERING their time to help out not getting PAID to do it!!! And even FEMA thinks we are WONDERFUL for all the work we have done! ASS

  • It is amazing and heart warming to see so many neighbors pull together for a common goal. Cant help but get a bit of moisture in the eyes witnessing true American and human spirit of fight and survival. I wonder how many calls the police had regarding looters or protesters yelling, I want mines! My guess is every able-bodied person in that area is working hard to fight the flood. God bless all of you fine examples of hard working non-hyphenated Americans and pray the waters recede soon.

  • I think instead of rippin on people because they live in the red river valley i think you should maybe lend a helping hand or offer a donation to your local red cross. I dont really know where your from but the reason people live in the upper midwest isnt because we love the cold winters or enjoy spring flooding, but mostly because we honor our values and treat everyone as family. I think the volunteer efforts are tremendous and for people to sandbag a strangers house is absolutely remarkable.

  • I'm with you smadgurlie. I used to live in Fargo. Nothing wrong with people living there. Yeah, it's in a flood plain, but what does that matter? Cali is going to drop in the ocean. The Pacific Northwest is sitting on a massive volcano, likewise Wyoming. Coastal states in the south are subject to terrible hurricanes. Living in a flood plain is nothing like that. So let them talk, flap gums like cows. They are idiots to do so.

    However, t is entertaining.

  • I didn't say anything about Jesus. I guess whatever you have to pull out of your ass to keep this argument going... Just keep talking-nice to know there are still assholes out there, thinking that their opinion matters.

  • Snow and rain do this every year... If you don't know what you're talking about, shut up. Come here and tell families to their faces that they are stupid and ignorant. Morons? Idiots? Like I said before, these comments are amazingly IGNORANT and STUPID.

  • take responsibility? fuck you. I hope you also burn in hell you son of a bitch.

  • Here in Brazil we are praying for you all, dont give up and hopefully everything will be fine. Your effort never will be in vain.

  • Take out a map and read it before making stupid comments. The people who are in the most danger have had homes there for decades. Do you understand what RECORD flooding means? It means that it has never flooded like this before. That means that when people built the new homes, it wasn't an area that usually floods. Passing taxes is really what would save us this week isn't it? I'd love to point out your stupidity to you longer but my kids and I are going to go help with the fight some more.

  • Dude, stevenpk34...Go fuck yourself. Seriously. My house is on "flood safe grounds", NOT on a floodplain, yet we are in danger of flooding. Take a long walk off a short dock. Dumbass...

  • It's very upsetting to think that anyone could complain this much about a natural disaster. Honestly? It's obvious you get joy out of checking on this comments constantly, seeing that you get people worked up about this. And yes, I am now replying... Maybe I'm being too "nice" about this, but stop "bitching" about others people's lives. I can guarantee that 90,000 people would happily spit in your face and deny assistance if you were in trouble. But they wouldn't, because they actually care.

  • You guys just don't get it... We don't build where there has been flooding before. Those houses along the river have been there for decades and this is a "record", you know... Never happened before. Get it? I live 12 miles away from the river and they're building dikes around my neighborhood. The Red River Valley is flat. We all know this. And WE don't DO THIS every few years. EVERY single year the river floods, but not at record. It's like explaining this to a five year old.

  • shut up you dumb fuck. This is the best place in the world to live. Come up here ive been sandbagging for the last week and still have enough energy to kick your ass. Fuck you i hope you burn in hell

  • We have dams; RECORD flooding is threatening them. We've been working on them since the last flood. We're not bitching and we are taking responsibility. Isn't that why you're so pissed? We're not looting and stealing each other's crap or shooting each other? We're not blaming anyone or crying to our govt to save us? We do pay taxes and when we get assistance from anyone we're grateful; we don't criticize how they help us. Get a life; quit watching us you evil bastard. Also, it's Casselton.

  • You are the stupidest moron of them all if you think this. No matter were you live (anywhere) you will have some fight to fight. The people of Fargo/Moorhead and every town up and down the Red River Vally has more heart in their finger, then you have in your whole family. FYI if you live in Fargo you don't live on a Flood Plain. Learn your geographical maps you moron.

  • shut up metaspore, your an idiot. Your not the one going through evacuation so why would we even think about your country at this time. Your not the one in need of help. So quit complaining, cuz obviously if this happenened to you people would be trying to help you also. but it seems like you only think about yourself and not others.

  • what an ignorant comment metaspore!!! Who gives a rats ass who voted for who, these are peoples homes and lives we're talking about!

  • Nice ignorant post you POS. Go shove your "CHANGE" voter stub up your better end.

  • Well, Obama and you are both equally stupid.

  • metaspore you moron, hope your post gets removed

  • YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK YOU! ((METASPORE))

    YOU SELFISH BITCH!

AND THANK YOU BOSNIA14 im tottaly on your side.. and plus..

  • You're a frickin genious metaspore. I know how hard it was for you to copy and paste the same moronic comment to every flood video. People like you have that much hatred for one of two reasons: You're heartless or you're jealous. I'm from Fargo but have lived in Philly and San Diego. I always come back here because the people here are amazing. Our kids work harder than most adults in other states. You should be jealous. We're fighting to save our homes and I feel sorry for you.

  • Good work guys! But my shoulders and back are so sore!

  • Just when I think I have it bad i see this and am thankful for what I have! God Bless you all.

  • Oh I was there! We did a lot of sand Bags!! My hands are tired! I don't know how much we did! BUT GOODWORK
