  • I was checking the rapid led website and the XP-G led's that they have are only listed at 5 - 8.3 Kelvin rating. Are these the ones you used and are they as white as a 10k would be?

  • This might silly but then, does the current specs of the driver depend on the total combined watts of the LEDs..? Say I use 10 3W leds, then do I get a driver for 30 Watts?

  • Would have been a good video if there was more info. What sequence you put the lights and what position for positive and neg. etc This video showed nothing but how to glue something.

  • for the price you can get one made and cheaper

digiskey.com they gat led for .89 cents and their wide view is more then 75

  • How many of which fans did you buy?

  • bro these dimmable drivers r automatic or manual ????

  • @319PurpleHaze All manual dimming controls, they may be connected to a RapidLED daylight control timer or an Apex system.

  • These "how to" vids are great. It helps those of us on the fence get up the stones to try the DIY route ourselves. Very nice job!

  • you could just rill the led out if it burns out

  • Lookin Good!

  • awesome cant wait for more vids :)

  • GUYS WE NEED TO GET AN INTERVENTION TOGETHER FOR 1mkwiet! lulz. cool vids bud keep em coming.

  • also how much did everything cost since you're doing it all DIY, what's the cost difference between buying an LED fixture and a DIY one? is it going to be adequate lighting for all your SPS corals?

  • @gprime22 I don't want to replace my comments with 1mkwiet, just given him a boost ;) From watching all these videos and researching LED's I would think he spent $600-$700 USD on this fixture. A commercial fixture of the same light output and dimming options could be well in the $2,000 -$3,000 range.

  • thanks!

  • thanks for taking the time to make these videos
