This CD scared the shit out of me when it first came out. It still creeps me out, but in an extremely metal way. La Rocque is a MASTER melodic solo artist, and The King is a world class vocalist.

The only problem I have with KD's later music is that the solos just started getting shorter and shorter and shorter. Compare the solos of Abigail with the solos of. . .well. . .this song. You're lucky if any of the modern KD solos last any longer than 30 seconds.

I wouldn't mind that so much if there were longer solos interspersed with the short ones, but that's never the case anymore. They're ALL too short now! Abigail 2 is especially guilty of this.
