that is dirt on it's face from burying the peanuts. I gave it raw peanuts and we had peanut plants sprouting all over the garden. i cultivated one plant and gave the harvest to the white squirrel...

@sojogunn for the hundreds of pounds of raw peanuts I've fed the skwerls here I've never had peanuts sprouting in my garden. I only wished they would sprout!

she got squashed by a car...but one of her offspring was black and 2 white ones..the black one takes peanuts from my hand like his mom, the other ones refuse to be trained

This brings back memories... We used to have a tree by our back door, and squirrils learned to get our attention by jumping on the screen! Otherwise they'd hang out on the railing, like this one. We had a white one a long time ago... I miss them!

The black stuff on her nose is dirt.

She eats one then burys the next one in the garden. I feed her raw peanuts and the are sprouting all over the garden. That's how Jimmy Carter got started
