If anybody wants to judge who is better - Lancaster and Coghlan V Rossi and Parfitt; take each pair out of Quo then see which line up works. Rossi/Parfitt - continued quality output for next 25 years. Lancaster/Coghlan - sod all since Quo. This perfromance is like a very average pub band and the guitarist is shocking; oh and AL still cant sing

lets just put this to bed right now! this is a Q track but it aint Q & no matter how much we like to see the likes of john & alan together it just dont fit without the other members of the original line up! Its like paul & ringo without john & george, it aint there! Even if Q did get back together i fear that cutting edge maybe gone forever so lets just remember them for what they were & move on, THE greatest boogie/rock band EVER,..

The thing is modern day Quo can't play this kind of rock anymore. They became pop band whereas Lancaster and Coghlan were all rock n roll. The four of them together were truly sensational. The split and the change in music direction was a very sad thing to see after so long turning out superb rock tracks. I will always remember Quo how they were and not what they became. Good to see Alan and John reflecting that.

AMEN TO THAT. Quo was unique. In the ultimate line up tho: John, Rick, Alan and Francis.

I know it aint gonna happen cause of mr rossi but too see the 4 of them back together.....one can dream hey :)

It won't happen due to Mr.Lancaster either...he has made it clear several times that he does not want to join Quo on stage - so don't put the blame all on Francis.

It's not rossi's fault. JC left cause he'd had enough of touring and studio recording. Lancaster moved to australia and basically outsided himself from Quo. But they have put there differences aside and now, Rossi, Parfitt, JC & Alan are friends again. JC and Alan do attend the occational Quo Concert. But I think putting them back together on Stage, it will bring all the shit back to the surface. It's a big big shame, but it's the way the penny's rolled
