F*** My Life... I beat Sephiroth, both of them, or all three if you wanna get technical on me. My characters beat him in their low 60s, no ultimate weapons, no KOTR, no materia from the special caves. I pretty much beat him with wall, ultima, and deathblow. Not bad. Except for some inexplicable reason I gotted ripped off with my ending and after omnislashing sephiroth I got a blank screen for half a minute, watched the credits, and then watched as stars flew by for the better part of an hour.
@TackerJD Aye, sounds similar to what happened when I played Final Fantasy X. It was a used game, but I had no problems with it until after I nabbed the final boss... then it was all white screen. For about an hour. Until I gave up and bought a new copy. :C

Ultima Weapon you gain when you dive back into the Sunken Submarine, the one where Reno and such where sailing around for sumthing, it's been a long time but this is was I remember.
@MadmanDKDK You get the Ultimate Weapon by beating Ultima Weapon, not from Gelinka. And Sephiroth actually attacks you in the final battle if you don't use Omnislash, but he'll never kill you; he always deals 31/32 of your max HP (if i remember correctly). The point is that he can't kill Cloud. Seph's attack will cause Cloud to counterattack and 1-hit-kill Seph.
@Munaus He does. If you don't, he'll attack you. its a very weak strike, so even if you're level one you'll survive. Then you'll counterattack, and the fight's over. pretty pointless to have omnislash.
@Munaus if you fight seph in his final final form (if you killed him and he takes you with him to fight 1 on 1)
he can attack if you stand still for some time but the attack can't kill you what ever lvl you are and you automaticely counter him with you final limited break (wich is almost always omni slash or you must realy good and almost only use other chars (and not have cloud in your party wich half of the time aint possible i hope you found an answer you needed XD
@Munaus Even if you do nothing, Seph still dies. He hits you with a move that (I think!) reduces you to 1 HP, then Cloud counterattacks and it's end game just like that. I'm still trying to figure out which FF final boss is easier - Seph's final form or Yu Yevon from X. >>
one of the most satisfying parts of this game is when Bizzaro Sephiroth starts to collapse, because with all his healing, it's difficult to realise just how much progress you're making =\.

Beating Bizzaro Sephiroth is easy. HasteAll+WallAll+Enemy Skill: Pandora's Box then hammer the fuck out of him with level 3 magic and you don't have to cheat.
@joeprice010 actually he's only almost impossible to beat in kh 1, in kh 2 just lvl up to like lvl 65, and i forgot the skills u need equiped and weapons but i beat him at lvl 65 after like 3 tries

He's not cheating, he ended the game with all the stuff I had on my masterfile. Looked like Master Magic, Master Summon and Master Command with Mega-All and HB absorb with all that good stuff. I maxed out all my stats with sources through endless hours of morphing (thank god for yuffie's conformer!) so I ended this fight quickly with a few 4x cuts.
i doubt hes cheating, theres 3 ways to play this game....the first time just to see the story, where u play through and dont spend 100+ hours attaining all the extra stuff, and beat it in the low 50s, then u go back, get doublecut/4xcut, master stuff, get ultima weapon, get KOTR, and all the other crazy stuff... then the 3rd ill leave blank incase someone wants to argue with me lol... my point is...grats on beating it with KOTR? lol,....now beat it at lvl 50, its more fun that way...

Pretty sure I'm gonna lose, 'cause I don't have the best weapons, armory, materia, or "advantages" (referring to 4x cut and w-summon). You do realize that Cloud is LV100, right? And he's got all maxed out materia, the beast Weapon in the game, the best limit break in the game, and the best equipment, right? Also, Sephiroth isn't the hardest boss in the game, Emerald Weapon is. If it wasn't for the fact that this cloud is so overpowered, Sephiroth would have given him hell.THINK before you say something is easy.
Bud, I have whipped the shit out of this game over and over since 1997. I have destroyed the weapons multiple times as well. THINK before you say anything.
The stradegy in this game is pretty easy . . . first time I fought Sephiroth I killed both forms in one attack. I've also tried Cloud Solo - same result.
This is how to do it:
Have Cloud, Cid, and someone else in the team. Equip Cloud with Apycolypse, Cid with his x3 spear. Give them whatever.
Go to Mideel. Give Cloud a speed upgrader (I hasted and x3'd his speed)
Have Cloud own everyone with Slash-all.
After two hours, you'll level about 25-35 times. Then fight Sephy, and have fun.
After you defeat Sephiroth Holy tries to stop Meteor from hitting earth but it only holds it back for a while until the lifestream comes out of the earth and fortifies Holy enough to destroy meteor.
Wow, you totally owned Bizzaro Sephiroth with the Knights of the Round Summon. I couldn't get the Ultima Weapon from that battle game at the Amusement Park. Nice way to finish off Sephiroth with that Omnislash. I have FF7 as well, but I doubt I could get that strong without losing my mind with all the grinding. The summons just take forever to level up.
Actually theres a good place to level in the Crater at the end of the game. (as long as you have the W-Item Materia) Just make it so you have 99 Elixirs and fight those dudes that tell you to give them an elixir. I forget how much AP they give you but it is A LOT and I think it gives 10,000 XP,
once again someone comes up to my video saying I'm cheating and I haven't done it myself.
Well suit yourself, I've gotten the items and levels myself for this one, otherwise go watch another FF7 Sephiroth video in my videos, the challenge one.
Unfortunately that's how it ends, you kill Sephiroth - Watch a mile long ending FMV, then credits and another pretty short FMW before you have to restart the entire Playstation to play any further.
I hate how impersonal the conflict between Cloud and Sephiroth is. I mean
SPOILER
You don't actually see Sephy in the flesh until the last battle, and the argument can be made that the "mental projections" of Sephiroth throughout the game are just Jenova taking on Seph's appearance, hence why there's a Jenova fight most of the times he appears.
END SPOILER
But this doesn't make for a good conflict. I mean, in FF6, you're party and Kefka were toe to toe the whole way. IMO, I still love FF7.
You see him "in the flesh" the first time you go to the Northern Crater too.
And it doesn't matter if it was Jenova's body taking on his appearance, because she/it was nothing more than an avatar for Sephiroth's consciousness. He was still there, interacting with you during the whole game.
And like people say: if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and 'quacks' like a duck... Then it's a duck.
doesn't change the fact that he's boring as hell. Don't get me wrong, I don't think we've had a good villain since FF6...and come to think of it, Kefka may be the only really strong villain in the series.
I will say this though: I like Sephiroth way more after I played Crisis Core, which gave him much more depth and character. ALSO, part of his lack of character in FF7 may well be due to the fact that the localization reads like a Tommy Wiseau movie (points if you get that reference).
Kuja's only a semi-villain though. That's like saying Edea or Golbez are better villains.
I've never understood why Square decided to throw in a final boss that the player only discovers 10 minutes before the end of the game. It seems to go against good plot structure.
1) Edea herself wasn't a semi-villain, because she wasn't a villain at all. Her body was just an avatar used by Ultimecia to interact with the present world(similiar to Sephiroth using Jenova's body in FFVII to interact with the exterior world, outside the Crater).
2) Kuja was the main-villain, the one responsible for all the shit happening. He even killed the two big bads of the story(Brahne and Garland), AND was the responsible for Necron's apparition.
The last battle is so Epic. The whole concept of FFVII is so perfectly made. The story, music and gameplay is incredible. feel sorry for those who haven't played the game at least 10 times ;)

Final Fantasy 7 was the first FF game I ever played, and the first time I tried Sephiroth, I almost peed my pants. It was so hard! But looking back on it now, it's totally easy! That and the first time I went into the Northern Cave I was under level 50, so that's bad...
I don't know how to properly take advantage of Final Fantasy stuff like materia and weapons, I just hold down O and let them attack. It usually works out fine hahahhah USUALLY
To be honest, some of the really good crap can be obtained easily though the story-line as long as you have the patience for it.
The master materia is from the huge materia you collect in the 2nd disk and talk to Red XIII's grandpa when you have all four of them.
Quadra Magic, Knights of the Round, mime and W-summon are located in the 'sealed caves' There's on near Wutai, Temple of the Ancients, the desert behind Coral and at the corner of the world. (Literally)
Chocobo side-quests help you get a golden chocobo, so you can go anywhere--but the Northern Cavern. The island where K.o.T.R. is located has a area of mountains and a forest in the center, no space for the airship.
Omnislash--Cloud's 4th limit break is at the Golden Saucer in the Battle arena. There is a catch--you have to earn about 64,000 battle points to exchange them for the item--to give it to Cloud in the item menu. Ribbons help.

If you mean the final battle versions of Sephiroth and not Sephiroth himself, that's what he was doing for five years crystallized in Mako: turning himself into a form worthy of a god, because he believed that he was an ancient chosen by Jenova or whatever to take back the planet for the Cetra.

This is ridiculously easy...
This takes very little skill.
Use Big Guard and summon KOTR, round 1 over. Then just 4x cut safer sephioth until you get a limit. This takes VERY VERY LITTLE SKILL

It is impossible (Pending if you are good at these games) to get defeated if all of your characters are above 60 and you know the system well.

Hm... I'm about level 58 or 59 with all my characters, and I'm at Safer Sephiroth. Pretty sure I'm gonna lose, 'cause I don't have the best weapons, armory, materia, or "advantages" (referring to 4x cut and w-summon). Plus, I'm still kinda new at this, so I for once DON'T know the game. Still think I'm gonna win? :P

You do realize that Cloud is LV100, right? And he's got all maxed out materia, the beast Weapon in the game, the best limit break in the game, and the best equipment, right? Also, Sephiroth isn't the hardest boss in the game, Emerald Weapon is. If it wasn't for the fact that this cloud is so overpowered, Sephiroth would have given him hell.THINK before you say something is easy.

The stradegy in this game is pretty easy . . . first time I fought Sephiroth I killed both forms in one attack. I've also tried Cloud Solo - same result.
This is how to do it:
Have Cloud, Cid, and someone else in the team. Equip Cloud with Apycolypse, Cid with his x3 spear. Give them whatever.
Go to Mideel. Give Cloud a speed upgrader (I hasted and x3'd his speed)
Have Cloud own everyone with Slash-all.
After two hours, you'll level about 25-35 times. Then fight Sephy, and have fun.

After you defeat Sephiroth Holy tries to stop Meteor from hitting earth but it only holds it back for a while until the lifestream comes out of the earth and fortifies Holy enough to destroy meteor.

Wow, you totally owned Bizzaro Sephiroth with the Knights of the Round Summon. I couldn't get the Ultima Weapon from that battle game at the Amusement Park. Nice way to finish off Sephiroth with that Omnislash. I have FF7 as well, but I doubt I could get that strong without losing my mind with all the grinding. The summons just take forever to level up.

Actually theres a good place to level in the Crater at the end of the game. (as long as you have the W-Item Materia) Just make it so you have 99 Elixirs and fight those dudes that tell you to give them an elixir. I forget how much AP they give you but it is A LOT and I think it gives 10,000 XP,

I think if just have Knight of Round & Ultima Waepon is can be done without using cheat.....
Because I already beat all the Weapon, without using Summons....... The hardest is Ruby....

Unfortunately that's how it ends, you kill Sephiroth - Watch a mile long ending FMV, then credits and another pretty short FMW before you have to restart the entire Playstation to play any further.

I hate how impersonal the conflict between Cloud and Sephiroth is. I mean
SPOILER
You don't actually see Sephy in the flesh until the last battle, and the argument can be made that the "mental projections" of Sephiroth throughout the game are just Jenova taking on Seph's appearance, hence why there's a Jenova fight most of the times he appears.
END SPOILER
But this doesn't make for a good conflict. I mean, in FF6, you're party and Kefka were toe to toe the whole way. IMO, I still love FF7.

You see him "in the flesh" the first time you go to the Northern Crater too.
And it doesn't matter if it was Jenova's body taking on his appearance, because she/it was nothing more than an avatar for Sephiroth's consciousness. He was still there, interacting with you during the whole game.
And like people say: if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and 'quacks' like a duck... Then it's a duck.

doesn't change the fact that he's boring as hell. Don't get me wrong, I don't think we've had a good villain since FF6...and come to think of it, Kefka may be the only really strong villain in the series.
I will say this though: I like Sephiroth way more after I played Crisis Core, which gave him much more depth and character. ALSO, part of his lack of character in FF7 may well be due to the fact that the localization reads like a Tommy Wiseau movie (points if you get that reference).

Kuja's only a semi-villain though. That's like saying Edea or Golbez are better villains.
I've never understood why Square decided to throw in a final boss that the player only discovers 10 minutes before the end of the game. It seems to go against good plot structure.

1) Edea herself wasn't a semi-villain, because she wasn't a villain at all. Her body was just an avatar used by Ultimecia to interact with the present world(similiar to Sephiroth using Jenova's body in FFVII to interact with the exterior world, outside the Crater).
2) Kuja was the main-villain, the one responsible for all the shit happening. He even killed the two big bads of the story(Brahne and Garland), AND was the responsible for Necron's apparition.

The last battle is so Epic. The whole concept of FFVII is so perfectly made. The story, music and gameplay is incredible. feel sorry for those who haven't played the game at least 10 times ;)

It's generally believed to be a mistranslation; you may have noticed one or two of them elsewhere in the game. Though many people claim to have THE ANSWER, I don't think there's any official word on the subject. Two common revisions are "Savior Sephiroth" and "Seraph Sephiroth," Seraphim being the highest level of angels in the Christian hierarchy.

To be honest, some of the really good crap can be obtained easily though the story-line as long as you have the patience for it.
The master materia is from the huge materia you collect in the 2nd disk and talk to Red XIII's grandpa when you have all four of them.
Quadra Magic, Knights of the Round, mime and W-summon are located in the 'sealed caves' There's on near Wutai, Temple of the Ancients, the desert behind Coral and at the corner of the world. (Literally)

Chocobo side-quests help you get a golden chocobo, so you can go anywhere--but the Northern Cavern. The island where K.o.T.R. is located has a area of mountains and a forest in the center, no space for the airship.
Omnislash--Cloud's 4th limit break is at the Golden Saucer in the Battle arena. There is a catch--you have to earn about 64,000 battle points to exchange them for the item--to give it to Cloud in the item menu. Ribbons help.

Uhm, I beat Ultima, but then I had to give it back to the person I was borrowing it from since I finished the game and he wanted it back. I REALLY WANT TO BUY IT, but the cheapest I can find it USED is 40 bucks. (It's worth it, definitely, but I need the money for... you know.... food)
I used Tifa in my party the first time and people were like "ARE YOU RETARDED? SHE SUCKS, USE VINCENT" but he's so weak.............

Good thing: I beat Sephiroth with Cloud, Tifa and Vincent (either Vincent or Yuffie...I can't remember) in the party many times. (No Aeris since I do not know the cheat code in Game Shark to get Aeris back)
Bad Thing: For some 'strange reason' I have to level up everyone in all areas (again!) and move up to the Final Boss! *Scream in frustration: DARN IT!!!*
Anyway, do you see any other FF on your mind?

If you mean the final battle versions of Sephiroth and not Sephiroth himself, that's what he was doing for five years crystallized in Mako: turning himself into a form worthy of a god, because he believed that he was an ancient chosen by Jenova or whatever to take back the planet for the Cetra.
