The words "under God" weren't added to the Pledge of Allegiance until 1954. Most people are misinformed about what the first amendment really means. There is place for Religion in our public life, but in this case adding those words really was violation of Church and state. If the country was run by Atheists, at least we would be sure that decisions wouldn't be made purely based on religious views. Separation of church and state is meant to do just that, but we all know that many people in power are making choices without much reason other than their religious views. Laws shouldn't be based on religion, it's just that simple!

Its vitally important for all parties involved, for the government to treat everyone equally.
Religion is something that people should bind themselves to freely, it should not be something that the government binds people to.
marriage legally is about setting up inheritance and legal rights. What gender the parties are is irrelevant.
Spiritually its up to a priest to decide if they want to ordain the marriage

Here is the problem with these arguements... they assume that homosexuality is natural and that a person is born that way.
Think about biology. Y goes into X. Woman needs man. Man needs woman for the human race to continue. Exact same way with other species on earth. There is only one way to do it naturally.
Thus, I do not believe that homosexuality is a natural born trait like skin color is.

The words "under God" weren't added to the Pledge of Allegiance until 1954. Most people are misinformed about what the first amendment really means. There is place for Religion in our public life, but in this case adding those words really was violation of Church and state. If you weren't as ignorant about general Christian theology as you are U.S. history you'd understand adding those words wasn't a good thing.

The concept that you must live in a state of disharmony in order live harmoniously is absurd and absolutely contradictory. Sex, in and of itself, is not evil. Wanting sex is not evil. Having sex is also not evil. It is entirely contradictory that God would base His entire propagation structure on something He found to be evil.

Further, what did all of the people before the Bible do if it was such a horrible sin to do it and not be married? That's not just a couple of people. So far they all are about the government being in our lives! That is our #1 problem. If min. wage is raised then cost of living will raise, taxes will raise, cost of food, medical, dental, etc. because all those business will have to make the money to pay there workers.
If you want more equality,less taxes(no income tax)then consider Ron Paul. He is the only "Constitutionalist" running.

Sen. Clinton, articulate as she is, has been setting up herself against the largest corporations in the nation/world with her proposal to constantly increase taxes on not only the corporate level, but on the executive level as well. She should align herself with the 'conservative-liberal' approach as I call it and support hard work, promote personal responsibility, as well as advocate equality etc.
