What engine size was the getz? I have a getz i know its quite nippy but i think its unbelieveable it even kept up that well with the mazda! @7Stavrakas29 Yes i do,97 hp 1.4 l 16 v,A normal getz weights 1020 kg fully loaded with electric windows,Furthermore from the dig a getz can't beat an evo,even if it has 390 hp there is no traction,i've seen getz with 400++ hp theres no traction even if you use good tyres, An evo doesn't hit 10 k rpm the maximum they can hit is 8900 rpm.You can fit a turbo,but a very small one,it only increases 30-80 hp depending on the air intake system.

My Getz, for example, has as good acceleration as a Clio, or a Polo, and even an Audi A3. Of course, if you put it against a CLK, the CLK will outrun it with no effort.

Actually, as far as I know, Mercedes is one of the best in passenger security. But I had an impact with my Sonata against a tree, more than 100km/h, and I didn't even feel it. Can't say the same about the car, who got the steering broken (don't know how to call that, not english native). Nor the tree who didn't survive the impact.

I like Santa Fe, but I think it's a little overpriced. For a little more you can get BMW, or ML. We'd have to look at other facts, however.

@zktom well i have the new getz and its pretty good... every day on my way home from work i drive on the old rally track in austria (its now an open road) i owned a 1993 mazda 323F (coupe with sleepy eyes) and the getz got better handling then the mazda... now i got 50.000km and had no problems with my hyundai and the quality isnt that bad, ive sit in an 2009 WRX and the same type of plastic in it... so if u havent owned a hyundai dont type anything like that

skoda is a good car, but when i've been choosing fabia/getz getz won in price, engine and air conditioning. fabia won in suspension, but it's too expensive. now with i30 hyundai finally developed nice rear suspension and it's a different car. it isn't mercedes, but it goes much closer to skoda. and yep, getz is fastets in it's class from 0 to 60.
