  • this looks sooo crappy! :( thanks so much man, I wanted to buy this camera for its slow motion features.... u GREAT! :-P keep posting....

  • So it films at 1000fps. but is the video quality always this poor? I'm thinking about getting one to film my bowling release but if the quality is this bad i dont know if i want to.

  • @ScubzMcTalBowling quality isn't great at 1000fps and the resolution is too slow. for a bowling release i bet you can use something like 200fps and be fine, which means higher quality

  • for its price, this camera is excellent!

  • When recording at 1000fps its normal that the quality is crappy. If it wasnt the video file would be HUGE.

  • holy crap this is the music from the classic NES game 'river city ransom'.... wow that game was amazing- i didn't think anybody else knew of it

  • I'm not sure what "full light" is but it wasn't enough light. 1000fps is relagated to direct sunlight (high lumens) and it should look better. I have a rough time getting my Casio to shoot well at 1200 fps.

  • It's very nice, but I think that 210 and 420 would be magnitudes more useful.

  • the quality is bad because he didnt put enought light, you need sun light or better to get good videos

  • 1000fps looks bad no matter what. I had a direct light on this. Anyway, yes, sunlight helps.

  • couldnt you put a lense on that makes the picture better?

  • no, more light would help, but not a lot can be done at 1000fps with this camera.

  • its cool but the quality sucks but i still give u 5/5

  • Wow... I didn't know the image quality at 1000fps would be so crappy for this camera... :S

  • yup. you can check out the casio ex-f1, but if you want better than that you'll need a professional solution. we have to keep in mind how affordable these cameras are and how challenging hi-speed shooting is.

  • At least is seems to be doing quite well at 210 and 420fps ;) Not HD, but like you say, it's pretty neat for a camera in this price range ;)

  • actual resolution = 224x64
