Algunos dramas en japon tienen muy poco presupuesto. Esta serie fue una de esas ocasiones es por eso que no siempre tienen buena calidad o son similares al original. It was a good adaptation nevertheless.

Agreed, Rabble, the music's fantastic! The Japanese composers captured the passion and sadness of Ai's eternal damnation. I bought all six Jigoku Shoujo Aniplex CDs from Amazon Japan and consider them well worth their cost. Also got the OLIVIA CD, The Cloudy Dreamer, and SNoW's Sakasama no Chou and NightmaRe mini-CDs. Wonderful music!

OLIVIA's Dream Catcher is on her mini album, The Cloudy Dreamer. Might look for it on sites like amazon. It's expensive; but has a few other nice songs on it as well. I'm not sure the Live Action Drama has a separate soundtrack. I think much of the music is based on the first anime season. The original Aniplex music CDs are much more expensive than bootlegs; but the packaging and appearance of the originals is MUCH better quality!

Jigoku Shoujo has some of best music in both the anime & live action very few other can claim that.....

I think cast looks great in live-action people may complain they don't look like a copy of their manga/anime counterparts but all together their acting skills makes each of them stand out

meaning you can watch both without the pain of seeing your favorite character ripped apart as most live-action shows normally do

alot of ppl have said he same thing that the person who plays Enma Ai in this is a lil too old when Ai is aronud 12-14 possibly 14 in the anime.. i do hope if they do an actual movie they'll make it gory n with a younger girl. that'll do it justice to something like jap version of the grudge

Alot of people are not consider Ai is non-human if she wanted she could easily changed her appearance (she is that powerful) one could see the live-action series taken place after the anime (maybe) Ai was seen taking a fancy to fashion mags who knows she took it upon herself to start looking more older & mature.
