I am extremely happy to hear about the trans hire. There is a big difference between employers grudgingly agreeing to retain employees who transition and employers willingly accepting a new trans hire (and in the sciences - yay). It's almost like being treated like human beings, with rights and respect and all that (although maybe this is just a bit too much to expect).
I think we can all agree it's not too much to ask. Indeed, we have to DEMAND being treated like human beings!
I would temper my video in that the regional campus where she was hired is definitely our most progressive and I'm not sure she would've receive the same open arms in hiring at our other regional campuses. We don't have trans protections in our written policies, although I know the college-wide admin and diversity officer are fully supportive. Thanks for commenting!
I'm so glad for you that your school is trans-positive like that. Yes, you should get yourself something nice after a raise :-) But why do you like the PS3? I gave it a lot of thought when I got my XBOX 360 and there didn't seem like any compelling reason to buy a PS3. Fallout 3 does look fun. I hadn't played any of the other versions, but I might buy this one.
My decision for PS3 was mostly b/c I don't like Microsoft, plus it plays my old skool PS1 games like Galaxian, Galaga and Quake. +I've always had good luck w/Sony products.
Yes, the game is greater than breasts - in weight, volume and mass; especially when you have tiny AA's like me! Alas, yet another downside to later transition...
