Spanish songs sound greatly different when sung by Bocelli, Nat King Cole, Krall, etc. English songs by Santana, Los Bravos, Julio Iglesias sound equally great. The beautiness of the foreign accent.

It's true that I have a facility in languages, but any competent voice coach can teach a singer to pronounce either language reasonably well for singing purposes. Of course, Diana could sing in broken Dutch with a Liverpool accent and I'd still enjoy listening to her!
