Hi Bob - this is Kevin. I produced this video. That idea for the shoes was a spur of the moment thing. It wasn't from a real experience. And I used my boss's shoes!!! Have you washed your shoes in the dishwasher.
No, but I've considered doing them in the washing machine. I find you can't really get the mud off unless you do it by hand unfortunately - and soaking does next to nothing. I have a dishwasher but never use it, what sort of results are getting for your shoes? I might give it a go :P
