For those who don't like this organ, go to Salt Lake and listen to it. Sit in the middle section about ten rows forward from the back balcony. Then be quiet and savor the sound in person. I don't think you'll ever criticize the instrument again...........unless you're deaf in one ear or the other.
@oinotnaeon Thanks for your response. You may not be aware of this but the LDS was a huge financial supporter in denying the right for same sex marriage in California. Their music is fantastic, but why deny certain people the right to marry the person they love? America is NOT a Christian country. We are a melting pot of different faiths and cultures. Why not live and let live?
@JurglyWurgly I agree with you in respecting each individual's right to exert his or her free will. I just don't want to mix things up. Let's just enjoy good music and apreciate good things in life. Have a nice day.
It is true. I don't know why there are so many thumbs down on that... I absolutely love this organ, though it really isn't even in the top ten largest in the world.
I agree with Nigel...reminds me very much of Bach's Wachet Auf, Ruf Uns Die Stimme...if you like this sort of thing, it's very good...I really enjoyed it :)
@sk8er1979 a simple question: does size have to do with the beauty of the sound? or...the bigger the organ the better it will be? I'm confused...

Nice piece. Too bad it's a Mormon organization. I refuse to support LDS after their meddling in the Prop 8 fiasco in California.

@JurglyWurgly What does that music have to do with prop 8? why are you mixing things? man get a life and forgive yourself...

Anyone worth his salt would want to play this organ, the Mormon Tabernacle Organ of almost 12000 pipes.
