Not only are 'The Warblers' miming to a composite choir of Hollywood session backing singers, two thirds of the said real 'choir' is now electronic. Sampling programmes have advanced so much it's possible to reproduce harmonies over many octaves that now sound human and convincing...makes the process of complex harmony recording as fast as the keyboard player trucked in to 'be' them.

@jimdivax the actual Warblers that are seen on the show are the guys that do all the cool stuff you hear between scenes and whatnot on the legitimate show and Darren is flown to New York or Boston or somewhere in order to record new things with the (Tufts University College) guys that sing behind him for the WARBLERS stuff. Its not a "choir of Hollywood session backing singers" as you say. Look it up. They are pretty damn good.
