actually Navteq has the better quality maps, TeleAtlas has the cheaper maps

Tele Atlas has traditionally been stronger in Europe, but Google just switched completely to Tele Atlas, so times have changed and they're definitely a step ahead of the game these days

Wow - that's pretty intense. No wonder their maps are so accurate! I love the TomTom ONE, which uses TA maps, especially because the maps are so good...now i know why!
