The men who are running the show in Kenya are the same goons from the time I was in primary school and I'm almost 40 now. Kibaki, Mudavadi, Saitoti, Musyoka, Odinga family, Kenyatta and many more. I went back 2005 after 15 years and instead of moving forward, I could not believe how Nairobi looked like. The people are trying their best but there is no government. It might be there by name but the work of government is not visible. If you wanna save Kenya, stop tribalism and elect capable leaders

I agree with the lady who said regardless of the outcome, we have IDP's that need resettling and in light of the coming elections, this should be the opportunity to recommit ourselves to moral and just citizenship and not divisive ethnic citizenship

Some people have lived in the diaspora all their lives and have lost touch with reality on the ground. 70% of the so called diaspora benefitted from the suffering of the masses: they are sons & daughters of politicians & political affiliates who call kile, muthaiga, kitusuru etc home. Ruto, Uhuru, Ali et al are their tibe. who is IDP?!
Who told you guys Kenya is a country? Kenya ceased being a country when Mzee Jomo Kenyatta became the president. Everything evil that has happened since then qualifies Kenya to be HELL. Kenya should be defined as a location with 42 tribes fullstop. A country is where everyone benefits. The first thing a Kenyan asks you abroad after a few drinks is, Where are you from? Tribalism anywhere!

@dynamikism I on the other hand agree with her wholeheartedly! Kenya has a new constitution and it should be used to prosecute these high profile cases. How long is Kenya going to rely on foreigners to solve it's domestic problems? No wonder Kenyans have lil faith in it's justice system. There will be growing pains under the new constitution, but at least Kenyans will learn from it. The ICC is NOT the answer.
@magellanmax Kenya despite having a new constitution has a long way to go in so far as being a country that lives and abides by the rule and spirit of the law. If the DPP and CJ applied the rule of law to the latter for instance (think DCJ), Kenya can begin to make a U-Turn with regards to justice being seen to be done. We just need case laws and the right kind of mentality. Expecting Kenya to successfully deal with these goons in its current fabric is asking for too much. Literally.
