Why do Arabs have to change the names in foreign TV shows? I didn't follow this series but I don't think the girl's name was Noor or the guy's name was Mohanad. Actually I'm sure noone's name is Mohanad in Turkey.. So what was the name of JR of Dallas in Arab TV? Abdullah? Or Captain Kirk of Star Trek what was his name? Sheik Yassir bin Ubeid Al Masri?

With dubbed program,there's more leeway for localization. Look at anime in the US; in the English version of Sailor Moon, she's called Serena Tsukino. In the Japanese version, Usagi Tsukino. All is fair in love, war and localization.
