  • Wally is a good listener.

  • @garbomoray no i should have typed go fuck your mother...and i don't care

  • That feeling, of understanding everything and ego death, comes with the psychedelic experience. I'm not saying that drugs are the solution to both the Orwellian and Huxleyian edge conditions. There are other ways to experience it. When I learned about the grandeur and mystery of the universe through science, and put the Earth's biosphere into that cosmic perspective, I had that same feeling of unification. It's a new story the race needs, not a drug. And that story is written in night sky.

  • hey dancing bees, the internet is the looking glass, get out of the bathtub and stop playing with yer rubber duckys

  • that language is Arabic my fellow human beings

  • OCCUPY

  • lost me at alien stuff

  • @jsmith2899 He's not talking about aliens, dumbass. You missed the point completely. He's talking about hidden centers of culture here on Earth that are like different planets altogether because they're so far removed from the norm.

  • @ltownbeatdown Ahhh ok thanks for that because i lost sleep thinking about that last night.

  • @jsmith2899 you may as well have typed 'I'm too dumb to care'.

  • The scary part was that i had to be told this again.

    i am getting numb

  • blew my mind...

  • He is talking about the internet! The internet has its own language, culture, etc. It has access to all information. It is becoming a new method of protesting!

  • @sw0rdz sure. and he is also talking about that we are all connected to life.

  • @sw0rdz No, actually, he isn't. For starters, the internet of 30 years ago was not like it is today. The internet also brainwashes people and makes them bored, and gives the government access to all of our information.

  • @sw0rdz I think the internet has given us a false feeling of unity. Having three friends around you is much better than having 1000's of friends online. Also, everything we do now is logged and used against us. Sites are begging to catalog all of our searches and use that information to provide only material that they think we will like. It ruins the internet by not allowing you to see other points of view that may just in fact change our perceptions.

  • @milesgti Define friend.

  • Longest. Monologue. Ever.

  • Inconceivable!

  • Is he talking about the internet at the end?

  • community brought me here.

  • this is messed up true...

  • Comment removed

  • "If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through narrow chinks of his cavern."

  • @millartime1985 its called 'My Dinner with Andre'

  • This is probably the single most awe-inspiring, eye-opening, mind-blowing, and jaw-dropping video I've ever seen. Total win, thank you.

In a world which is becoming increasingly difficult to predict and change is happening faster; its logical to employ new skill sets across a multiple of disciplines. Quiet confidence.

  • this movie is a 2 hour long punch line

  • This was in 1981...my god, this writer knew exactly what we are living right now.

  • solution can be found at thezeitgeistmovement(dot)com

  • “There is no reason to accept the doctrines crafted to sustain power and privilege, or to believe that we are constrained by mysterious and unknown social laws. These are SIMPLY decisions made WITHIN institutions that are SUBJECT TO HUMAN WILL and that must face the test of legitimacy. And if they do not meet the test, they can be replaced by other institutions that are more free and more just, AS HAS HAPPENED OFTEN in the past.”

    NOAM CHOMSKY

THIS IS THE TRUE UNIVERSAL LAW, like GRAVITY.

  • @castano2001 Thanks for posting this, this is arguably the greatest quote as it pertains to freeing your mind and 'thinking outside the box'.

  • These things can be DESTROYED. Just look at the NOBILITY, the rule of KINGS was ERADICATED by the chant “off with their heads”; SLAVERY almost destroyed countries but it is GONE. All these APPARENTLY PERPETUAL AND IMMUTABLE INSTITUTIONS have come and have been ANNIHILATED. Today’s obstacles to justice are Depraved Economic Inequalities etc. This too shall go. Ppl organized and mobilized will break this too. YES, it’s hard, it requires ACTION, BUT these obstacles aren't PERPETUAL OR IMMUTABLE

  • @castano2001 mythcaster. Today's equivalent to head-chant is dictator killing his own people. We live in hierarchy and forces are in motion. Slavery might not be as apparent as it was in our history, but it still lives strong, so very strong. Institutions came and begone, but the ideas, the very things that define us are still implemented and kept alive. I'd say it's naive to think otherwise.

  • @JaniLintu U r not talking about Naiveté. U are talking about DEGREES. I merely said that at some point the power of Monarchies & the Institution of Slavery was 100%. TODAY it is A FACT that their DEGREE of power is MUCH LESS SIGNIFICANT. Even in the way you phrased ur comment u showed that u accept that these evils’ DEGREE OF POWER IS LESS SIGNIFICANT today. Because the issue of DEGREE is true then WHAT WAS MENTIONED IS NOT Naiveté but a FACT. But ur Foucaultian concern is significant bro

  • @castano2001 you misunderstood me, the degree in fact isn't any less significant, quite the opposite. Today we have slaves and then we have slaves who do not realize they are slaves and the latter is far more worse since it has spread worldwide, it affects everything and everyone. Our masters have turned most of us slaves into prison wardens with benefits over the regular slaves. The definition of Good/Bad has been clouded and no longer people realize there actually is enemy to man.

  • @JaniLintu

Like Chomsky u say: “Propaganda is to a Democracy what the Bludgeon is to a Totalitarian State”. That despite all struggles there has been NO change. That in fact today there’s not many Bludgeons BUT that there is a Systematic Brutalization of our Consciousness and Being in a global scale which is far MORE Powerful, Sophisticated and Immutable than any Bludgeon of the Institution of Slavery or Monarchies. That today things are in fact way worst.

    CORRECT??

  • @castano2001 I actually had to google for bludgeon and be surprised (for rationally stupid reasons, especially when I am to say everything has already been said) that there are people who have put these thoughts into simple set of words, but yes, that's pretty much my thoughts. Except maybe for the last part where you put them on a scale of comparison. We still have slavery of the monarchs co-existing with this new kind of slavery.

  • @JaniLintu YES problems today r HORRIBLE. BUT what happens when we ask this:“How bad r things & can they change”. Imagine asking this of those poor African slaves, coming like animals in ships, with NO language, NO land, NO power, Discriminated, Hated, Lynched openly. I think they would say that they had it much worse than us. For us to say that there’s no difference between them and us, that there’s no hope, nothing different from before, that struggles haven’t change a thing seems not accurate

  • @castano2001 things have changed and perhaps they are slowly progressing towards better, but to say slavery is gone is just wrong since we stll have slavery, both conscious and unconscious. But when people cannot realize they are slaves, things can go accumulate very bad. We have a lot more prison wardens now and setting people free is so troublesome these days since they refuse to acknowledge the problems we are facing.

  • @castano2001 FYI: The African slaves were slaves in Africa before they were sold by African slave traders to Europeans.

  • If he really has such a problem with the society he lives in why don't he just move away from the highly populated cities at go live with nature or as part of some tribe in the remote parts of the world untouched by the development and progress. Money is not a bad thing, sure it brings power and inequality but rich countries provide for peoples needs better, look at all the food, clean water, shlter, electricity etc etc, why get so paranoid.

  • @Stoneman54321 1st because he also enjoys the comfort and secondly the wealth of the rich countries are taken from the poor and this is more and more efficient process each day.

  • I love my plastic duck!

  • will always be one of my favorite films, I'm sure

  • Great comedy.

  • BUT there`s a great point into it! and i see great wisdom! it kind of goes through the deepeast fears and problems of the present! NEW order, and all that tv brain washing thing! i see it happening! BUt i also say! we are as free as we see ourselves to be! we are depending economically on the jobs, but than again i am a young person, and i cand get a job easily! bottom line, we are more or less bound by circumstances! THere is no absolute freedom! we just changed from black slavery to universal

  • I really enjoy reading some of the negative comments made against this film by the "proles" Here. Oh the irony. Talk about art imitating life.

Be proud of the prison you built proles. god knows you worked hard for it.

  • i agree.not bullshit,u obviously hav been watching2much t.v.n media.WAKE-UP!!!

  • Actually it's not BS. This is a classic example of art immitating life. A quick study of the term "New World Order" will show you that almost all modern events are staged and that most corporate media is designed to brainwash you into believing you are free when you are actually an economic slave.

  • Precisely.

  • not nonsense at all. ive never heard something make more sense to me.
