How to Decorate for Christmas : How to Avoid Mixing Christmas Decorations

My Grandparent's manger scene is a 'mish-mash' of figures that don't "GO" together - but i wouldn't ditch them for anything in the world! They are something that belonged to my grandparents and are a family heirloom. Christmas should not look all perfectly glittery plastic-y like you hired a decorator. Decorate with what you love and feel best with, and what makes you happy or says 'Christmas' to you.

Unless you live here in the Maritimes, then you throw anything you have together and call it Christmas :-P Oh, and don't forget the lobster trap with lights!
