2. Why use a tobacco product if there is no buzz? gum maybe being the alternative?

Hah, friend of mine pronounces snus the same way. Imo no real buzz from it, taste nice. Mistook it for melon instead of mellow but it does taste like melon a bit, mixed with apricot i'd say. Taste gets overwhelming after a while though cause it lasts so long. Even though you don't have to spit it you almost end of having to.

I just bought a can of camel frost snus. And as a previous dipper, I dont really care for the stuff. The best way I can describe it, is put a piece of winter fresh gum in your upper lip and keep it there. You wont get any buzz, and you don't chew it. Other than that it has a great taste.

Hello, I wanted to know if qiuesti Camel, Marlboro snus, induce vomiting or not? That taste (tobacco, of course)? You can keep in mouth quietly without ever spit, you in the video you've never spat, it sucks as a candy.

Let me explain better I a few months ago, I tried the makla ifrika and I was wrong for 40 min.

The Winterchill Camel Snus has a buzz to it even though I'm not used to dip, I tried peppermint Malboro snus and felt nothing. Winterchill is stronger even though I do want to try the frost and mellow.

Everyone says the American Snus is for pussys. But it's not made for people who chew. Its made for people who smoke and want to quit smoking. They made it not have as much nicotine, and taste good so people can quit smoking. I personally love it.

Just go my swedish match "general" snus trial pack today. All I can say is wow. The camel snus is ok but low in nicotine. The marlboro snus is nasty and low in nicotine. The General snus is 100 times better. It has better flavor and actually has enough nicotine where you dont' want to smoke. The only problem is it's hard to find retail and I will have to order it.

@DoomiteAsh It does contain nicotine. Trust me, over here in Norway and Sweden you can get some pretty strong snus that will make your head spin if you're not used to it. Haven't you noticed that if you got an urge for nicotine and you take a snus that urge goes away. Well, that's of course because of nicotine.

I have yet to try Mellow but im workin on a can of Frost now. I like it a lot. it is very mellow, unlike dip, but it does give a pretty good buzz. Like it was previously said, this stuff was mainly designed for smokers who can't get a cigarette when needed, but without the spitting, mess, or strong scent of dip so it's not a train colission of a buzz, but a steadier, milder buzz.

It's pretty good stuff for starting out with, but I'd try some real Swedish snus too. It's got more of a nicotine hit than Camel Snus, and the flavors are definitely interesting.

You should really try the Swedish snuses Göteborgs Rapé and Ettan! They are excellent :)

Camel Snus can't hold a candle to the real thing from Sweden, if you ask me. With the stronger Swedish stuff, you can really feel the nicotine hit, not like Camel Snus at all. The taste of the stuff I've tried so far is pretty good too.

@DoomiteAsh i wont say that gøteborg rape or ettan aren't good, but in my opinion it's not the best, you need to try skruf sterk, or nick and jhonny (it's not big in sweden, but's it big in norway) and try general extra strong, they all pack a punch evan if you'd smoked for a long time, and i guess evan dippers will feel those 3 (but i've never dipped or chewed so i can't be sure)

Camel Snus has more nicotine than cigarettes, but it creeps up on you slowly so that you don't feel a heavy buzz like you do with dip. Give it time and it works. It is really for smokers to take the edge off when they can't smoke.

I tried mellow and was pleasantly surprised. It smells like pipe tobacco and is as really sweet like a swisher sweet. Maybe a hint of spiced vanilla? Anyway it is really sweet and good.

Well if you want a good buzz (especially since you're pretty new to dipping), I'd try Grizzly pouches. However, you might want to pick up a can of Skoal pouches (Mint is good for a start) to get used to the whole dip thing before you try Grizz. Even in pouches, dip packs a pretty mean punch if you're not used to it.

If you want a tingle out of Camel Snus, pop the pouch in and take a small sip of water. Soak the pouch in your mouth for a few seconds, swallow and your entire mouth will get a slight nicotine burn.

I have become a ridiculous fan of this product, especially the Mellow, but the Frost is excellent as well. I can see how it wouldn't give regular smokers or dippers a buzz, but being as my only prior nicotine buzzes have been off the occasional cigar, I can enjoy the feeling as well as the flavor!

Actually, I believe Mellow is what they renamed the Spice snus. Think I read that somewhere online. They used to have three flavors, now as far as I know they only have two.

The Mellow is its own animal. Camel originally had Original, Spice and Frost. The Original tasted like iced tea, the Spice tasted like Dentine gum, and the Frost is the same as the current stuff.

The Mellow doesn't taste like either the Spice or the Original. It's more candy-like than either of the original flavors. I've heard some people say that Mellow is a cross between Original and Spice, but I don't see it..

I hate American snus, but I did enjoy a Camel Original every once in awhile.
