They do? Well, for me at least (in a story) it's more interesting when a character/species I like is in trouble for some reason, because it's much more suspenseful and/or sad to me that way.

Yeah they do, but it normally has some story behind it or is vent art of some form o3o I know alot of people who write little comics or fanfics about their characters and then draw side pics of things that happen in between, mostly the bloody or disaster scenes though |D
