I was on final approach at 1,000 ft and all of a sudden saw an aerobatic aircraft coming right at me that turned out to be a RC plane. The only problem is that while an RC plane will make a loud noise on a commerical jet, it could possible bring my Cessna down.

The nearest AMA field to me is at a local regional airport. Their runway is an old inactive full scale runway that belongs to the airport. Last time I was there, They told me they have an altitude restriction of 300 feet. Naturally full scale aircraft have the right of way. Google: "Golden Hawks Deland." for more information.

If it's lined up with the main runway, the only one long enough for this aircraft, then given that it's flying into the sun it must be a winter morning but Pac Blue didn't fly into perth last winter.
If it's not the main runway, and it's the 18.35 pac blue flight then given the angle of the sun it's going to land on the grass across the runway.

Yeah Floatfast, it's illegal to fly a model aircraft within 5Km's of an airport, I understand he's getting charged over it.

Berethruu, Not sure what the situation is, (sinced you mentioned its illegal to fly modles within 5km) maybe you can shed light on this for me. The nearest AMA field to me is at a local regional airport. Their runway is an old inactive full scale runway that belongs to the airport. Last time I was there, They told me they have an altitude restriction of 300 feet. Naturally full scale aircraft have the right of way. Google: "Golden Hawks Deland." for more information.

K, ill change it now, however you have to remember most people like to go off the livery on the aircraft at the time, because its still technicially a near miss between a pac blue 738 regardless of what airline its operating for:D

The lighting on the plane is different in direction and more diffuse than the lighting on the ground. The speed of the plane through the frame varies. If it's lined up with the main runway, the only one long enough for this aircraft, then given that it's flying into the sun it must be a winter morning but Pac Blue didn't fly into perth last winter.
If it's not the main runway, and it's the 18.35 pac blue flight then given the angle of the sun it's going to land on the grass across the runway.
