These kids were depressed and were being bullied by the "popular" kids. I know that feeling cos I too had a shit time at school, by the time of the Columbine killings I had been out of School for about 3 years but I did express my admiration for them to an older friend, he too knew how that felt back when he was at school. Why didn’t they just enter the cafeteria cutting off the exit at the time it was full and simply unload. They would have killed 100’s more knowing that the large crowd would disperse within a zone that was already sealed off. These kids were victims, victims of school officials catering to the (kool) kids. I wasn't there but I guarantee you these kids were mistreated by their peers and those who could have interveened did nothing. Why didn’t they just enter the cafeteria cutting off the exit at the time it was full and simply unload. They would have killed 100’s more knowing that the large crowd would disperse within a zone that was already sealed off. Bullying did something to them but I think it was mostly namecalling, the idea that the popular kids kept them out. They weren't mentally stable, I was a sort of outcast in high school, I hated the popular kids and the whole group mentality and I knew that after high school was done that I wouldn't have to see those kinds of people again, but they were filled with hate and they snapped.
