I've never been to disneyland, been to disney world 100s of times! i think disney made crap out of this ride when they replaced it just like they did with ALIEN encounter.
i still got country bears and carousel of progress :]
I've never been to WDW, but for me, Disneyland has a sense of place and history that is missing from what I have seen (albeit on TV) of WDW, Magic Kingdom. For me, there's nothing like sitting there, enjoying something that people who were kids 40 years ago enjoyed. Plus, it's cool thinking about how the TR used to be powered by a computer the size of the whole TR, and now it's run off a single laptop.
Excellent question. It's a variation on the Hawaiian War Chant that was popular during the Polynesian craze in the 1960's. With help from some other Tiki Room fans and some audio editing software, I think I have the lyrics worked out for all the flower parts, but not the parts where the tikis on the supporting columns start to sing. You can see my work at wikipedia. Search for "Tiki Room" then click "discussion".

@Zardeenah Couldnt agree with you more. Id be happy spending my lifetime visiting Disney Land only. You just can't beat an original.

yes, the original here at Disneyland is far superior to the WDW show in Orlando...
