Hi scalabration. To disassembe turn or tighten the nut in the clockwise direction and the leading edge of the clip will ride up on the backside of the locking tab and cause the two washers to disengage. Disassembly is very easy, can be done multiple times and done without damage. Thanks.
Hi disantis57. FYI scalabration has no affiliation with either me or my fastener. Also I've seen your patent online and I happen to like your invention especially how the locking mechanism works. Nice invention.
Big deal. You put a fastener together. Why don't you Junkers test it and post the results? Can you easily disassemble the unit without damaging it and then use it again. Your video proves very little and it is also quite boring.
It's not clear to me from the video how you remove the clip in order to disassemble the joint. Some commentary would be helpful. (Looks like a Craftsman ratchet.)
very simple but looks very effectvie - where do Ibuy these?
