Beautiful....just beautifuuuul. It's one of my favorite movies I love this movie. I know the movie step by step. By heart! I think I saw him 20 times so far. The first time I saw him in 2009. I like everything that is old, haunted houses, I love old houses from centuries past, I would like to live in such houses, I like old books, with castles, I am charmed by the people of those times. Please, if you know such movies tell me. Thank you very much!

Two pillars, my people, and an eye gazing out the aperture at us; the other eye is silhouetted in shadow, creating this aura of mystery: which brings me to my conclusion - The Tree of Life - that is what Depp's character was looking for; however, it's not a place, but a state of mind. Granted, it's true that the sephiroths all correspond with various bodyparts, and that initiation can occur in many forms, yet I still assert that gnosis is the key to illumination.

This song just sums up the whole movie for me... beautifully done, simple, calm; and yet something about it is incredibly eerie and almost frightening. ROMAN POLANSKI IS A GENIUS

Although the movie's end was quite bad compared with the first three quarters, the Ninth Gate is one of the best and most atmospheric movie's I ever saw. Polanski at his very best!

I saw the Ninth Gate over and over again and it still doesn't bother me. The movie just catches me in everything. What a wonderful voice of Sumi Jo and the compositions from Wojciech Kilar are just beautiful. Roman Polanski proves again that he allways knows so very well to choose the right talents for all his movies in everything that matters to the movie. I cannot wait to walk through the Ninth Gate if this beautiful and style full angel Sumi Jo is waiting there....
