  • that is the ugliest inner frame ive ever seen.,

  • no wonder bandai sold this kit for 5000 yen instead of 6500

  • nice review.

whats the name of the song u used for the intro?

  • Tomorrow, as sung by Marina Ismail in universe. Especially appropriate as this is the song playing in the final deployment of Gundam Exia.

  • @chaos267 i need to know too

  • Cool video, thanks for posting. Question: when painting inner frames, do you paint individual pieces, then assemble, or assemble, then paint? If the latter, how do you paint the joints?

  • Awesome! Well detailed review!

  • also would the whole core light up if u dont add the sticker

  • i was wondering when do u add the topcoat for the gundam

when your finished adding decals and panel lining or before?

  • top coat should be the last thing you do so you would spray that after painting/panel lining/weathering hence the term top coat oh and the light-up thing... it wouldnt matter cuz the light shines through a gap on the plastic so NOT using the sticker wouldnt even matter as you can see from watching the inner frame

  • thank youuu!

    btw great revieww

  • great review ! every part well explained

  • is this model worth getting

  • Hey Z: Congrats.

This is imo your best review so far.

It's good to talk about the weaker points.

It shows that you're looking at it objectifly.

With this review you've improve a lot in a short amount of time.

  • your reviews are getting better and better dude. kudos to you!

  • i dont think exia is a kit meant to have its inner frame shown cause through out the show theres no mention of frame on exia except the gn drive and why would you want to have it naked its the EXIA

  • actually i can think of a few reasons

  • Great detailed review of the inner frame.

I'm sure the white panels on the hips vary for some people. Mine just couldn't stay on when I tried to pull the holders out.

Also, I find it sad that my TT Hongli No Grade Exia has the best leg joints out of all my 1/100 Exia kits. =/

  • yeah seems like everyone who got this kit seems to have come across SOME kind of problem... the whole left arm issue is still there even after snapping on teh armor just not as bad now... =/

  • I believe the reason why there's not as much inner mechanical detail is because the build of Exia is very slim and sleek. Compared to the boxy look of the RX-78, the Exia doesn't have much room for frame details.

  • problem with this kit is that it just cant even stand on its own, it just keeps tipping over, its ankles are just too weak

  • i hope i dont come across that =/

  • um i have a problem on what to get. i made a custom model and i want to order more parts for it.i have a lot of extra money so im on a budget of 35 dollars extra im thinking of getting the hguc zeta which is my favorite gundam with a stand and markers .if i scrap the entire idea i could get my first mg which will be exia mg . im not sure what to do can someone give me advice on what to get

  • Good review, buddy.

  • Great Review zversus, there is really an improvement noticable, good neutral background, good lightning and good editing this time although the two parted video parts where in the bottom the points scroll up is a matter of taste.

  • yeah i think ill end up using that for something else later on instead of what i had used it for here

  • But the MG exia ignition mode doesn't need to be painted right? I have one and haven't opened it yet. I'm planning on buying a tool kit (plastic nippers etc) can I use a tamiya tool kit for the gundam MGs or should I use a tool kit for specialized for gundam MG kits? I'm just worried since it's my first time to make a skill level 3 MG kit and will be buying a PG of 00 raiser or astray red frame in march so I really think I need tool kits.

  • tool kits are tool kits... there are no tool kits as far as i know that are specifically for gundam models but tamiya would be a great tool kit set to go out and get... or you can make due with what they offer at your local hobby or arts supply stores as they will most likely be cheaper

  • Okay then. Found a tamiya tool kit on one of the hobby shops I visit. will be buying it before I assemble my own Exia ignition mode. Thanks. :D

  • @shimattadeshou lol i only use nail clippers and you want to use tool kit?its a waste of money but if you want to,thats ok.

  • thanks by the way

  • maybe your cursed, with friday the 13th and all hahah xD but seriously, great review, looking forward to the other parts

  • yeah well im sick AGAIN too so maybe...

  • really cool action poses and very interesting inner frame.

  • very nice review Z. hate it when you get cracks like that, but, im sure it will compensate when you attach the armour on.

love those bending heel and pronation. that's one thing i've always loved on mechs/robots. totally sweet.

    oh, how bout the hands/fingers,articualtion-wise?

    good review again!
