A choreographed fall also wouldn't have gone down that hard. Ouch! And lastly, "death on ice" is not allowed, so if she did it at the Olympics she would have been penalized.

She did fall - look at how she lost control of the spin at the end. It's a pretty crazy, difficult spin there, so I think she probably knew she'd lose control so she just let go.

duh. thats how you usually end in REAL competitions. this was just for fun, like American Idol, and sasha had fun with it. she made it more dramatic. (if you look at her other program for this event she ends doing the splits. but i guess that was an accident too huh)

Why would she put her hands by her head and pretend it wasn't? That's not allowed in programs, pretending that a fall was purposely. Yes, I saw how she fell, but it was accidental, just because you were there doesn't mean you know everything about it. She had no deductions in this program so the fall was purposely.
Exactly, it was purposely, because when you see skaters fall, you can tell why/how they fell, if you look close enough, and Sasha let herself fall to the ice in this one.

duh. thats how you usually end in REAL competitions. this was just for fun, like American Idol, and sasha had fun with it. she made it more dramatic. (if you look at her other program for this event she ends doing the splits. but i guess that was an accident too huh)

It was AMAZING. She turned a fall at the end into a stunning ending, the dick button loves. She is so PERFECT! It is too perfect.

I second that, mytragiclovestory. Even my friends, who have no education in the subject of skating, know that the fall was choreographed.

Why would she hit the ice so hard on her injured leg, if the fall was part of her program? I think it was an accident, and the fact that she saved it so well, makes her a wonderful competitor.

if it was a real competition then i wouldnt smile. but it wasnt, it was all in fun. she looks more relieved then anything that she wasnt hurt. its pretty obvious it was an accident but she pulled it off wonderfully.

Okay, well it really doesn't matter on deductions. It was a purposeful fall and it is obvious.

there were no deductions because it wasnt a real competition. it was bascially exhibition with fans voting. the fall was not on purpose. i think peggy even commented on her nice save at the end.

Why would she put her hands by her head and pretend it wasn't? That's not allowed in programs, pretending that a fall was purposely. Yes, I saw how she fell, but it was accidental, just because you were there doesn't mean you know everything about it. She had no deductions in this program so the fall was purposely.

Exactly, it was purposely, because when you see skaters fall, you can tell why/how they fell, if you look close enough, and Sasha let herself fall to the ice in this one.

did she fall on purpose? I think she did coz she hit the ice too hard....nobody finishes like that, even if they finish on the floor, yeah i think she did, but any way she knew how to stlye it out. welldone to her. lol
