@cruisinaltitude it was fantastic. the service was great. the entertainment system is awesome, tons of movies to watch. food was really good. if you sit in the window seat (economy) you can slip your legs between the wall and the chair leg and stretch them out completely. for me this was huge because im 6 ft tall and stretching is imperative to my survival of a 15+ hr flight. i would highly recommend qatar.

I am comparing business to business, and I have only flown the new business on Qatar (On 77L) but the food, space, service etc..was one up from Emirates, except the price.

The biggest thing was the amount of leg room, Qatar has so much of, and the seat is lie flat as well.

the only better thing on EK compared to QR is the entertainment system ICE, everything else is better QR.

have you tried its business class? it's amazing and comfortable, and the service is so good. I used to fly with Emirates on the business class to the US until the beginning of 2008 where I switched to Qatar Airways since then.

i flew qatar airways and found nothing wrong in their service plus their fares are supposed to be much lower and i never got delayed in their flights.

But for emirates I onc esuffered a four hour delay.

Though I like PIA best my favorite gulf airliners are Gulf Air and Qatar Airways

A good airline should look into the welfare of passengers and staff... and thats what Emirates & Etihad do.... but as far as staff motivation is concerned Qatar Airways scores ZERO...... When Emirates & Etihad staff are enjoying Bonuses at the end of the year.... guys,,,,,,,,,i ve been on Qatar,Etihad,and Emirates but what happens is i hate qatars fleet it is all airbus a320 and a330 and Etihad is never arriving on time lasttime my flight was 4 hrs late but Emirates is a perfect airline it have the fastest and youngest growing fleet all over the world and if you are not on time for your flight they will throw your lugages away because they must be on time and dont want to waste other passengers time

I totally agree with you...Emirates leads by example... when Qatar Airways was arriving, Emirates was already packed... and anyway going to Houston is no big news for Emirates... its just but one of its many destinations. Qatar Airways is just copying everythng emirates is doing--- even copying management titles from managers to vice presidents & presidents... nothing is original in Qatar Airways......
