Is it just me but does the Spider-Sense just activate in some dangerous situations. Also I know a lot of you revere this show but it just doesn't do it for me, I can see what it did for comics and superheroes but for someone who didn't watch this show in it's prime time it just doesn't hold up. I think the Spectacular Spiderman cartoon did a brilliant job at updating Spiderman for a new audience.

Problem with the Movies is they bring in the shitting on too early, sure he loses uncle ben, but that's more of a wakeup call than anything else. Movie spideys have a tendency to be too emo, that includes the upcoming one.

@ikuehne Not necessarily. They bowdlerized shows made for girls more than they did the ones for boys. Look at the Sailor Moon dub. Cloverway was able to stand up to FOX's censors better than DiC did, but still not enough to save some things. And Fox was unwilling to import the ratings-failure Stars season even though it probably would have done better here than it did at home.

@LolVermillion In a later episode that Meison rethinks about the event he remembers (and says to someone) that the bullet was aiming at him but something happened and it hit his wife who died. And he says that since then he promished himself to protect innocents from "clows" that wear a mask and a suit and "hurt" people. And since Spider-Man is the only avaliable victim Meison takes it out on him >_<.

This was the first episode that I watched. I thought this and the lizard episode were switched around or something cause I didn't see the lizard episode first. it was this one then the episode about the lizard. this episode is funny though. you can tell that Spider-man has a more kid-like personality and jokes a lot more. the heart retching life of being a super hero hasn't hit him yet.

@Patrick112391 I think so. I noticed most of his attacks were indirect or web attacks. He punches he punches Scorpion's tail in one episode, but the tail is an inanimate object, and is therefore not violent.
